OOC: The size sure works, but whatever happened to your H00d man!:p I guess some changes would be in order, transitioning to a 'People's Force' from the presumably more-elitist Wehrmacht, but I must admit that remembering the old force it is a jarring change to see at present.

I guess you'll edit in the tech after you get the force structure in place? That's sensible enough if so, and anyway I'm one to talk; since despite being virtually all-NS for some IC years now, I still have DPRs to and stocks of many RL systems for emergency-issue. I'll even be going double-NS-standard soon, with both Czechalrussian/Soviet Storefront stuff on the one hand and yet Kriegzimmer stuff on the other (for when I'm fighting in Kriegzimmer-heavy theaters); my max mobilization usu. being around 3% of population so that my economy doesn't get pwnt and I can support such an overarmed, multitasked, Navy-heavy force as mine long-term to even start with.

Indeed, you need to edit that and add in the tech your guys use, as well as taking any references to Cold War era stuff from the Soviet TO you used.

Oh yeah I deffinately plan to. Its just the way I got it. All T-55s/72s/80s will be replaced with Behemoths/HT-106s/any other good MBT I can get my hands on. Hell, perhaps I'll even go with the T-99, a good new MT tank being produced by the Russian Federation.

As for reference to Soviet: just mentally replace it with Wanderjarian ;)

@Wagdog: Yeah, I did it because of the switch from being ultra-Imperialist back to being Socialist. Its appropriate I guess....lol

Maybe the M1 Phalanx?

Or the M1 Spartan Phalanx (a little upgrade which replaces the 12. MGs with 14.5 mm and adds a 20 mm remote controlled to the turret)?

OOC: That's a huge load of different equipment types, logistically its going to be bad with so many types needing parts, etc. Most of those ships are out of date and useless.

I would go for a standard navy like, two frigate classes, a standard light and fleet carrier and a standard SSN and SSBN class.

I know, its not been updated yet. This was the USSRs ORBAT, and its going to be updated with my tanks, IFVs, etc. I just haven't got around to it yet. Thanks for the heads up though, I appreciate it mate, but I already knew ;)

Also, if you know some good ships for my navy, that'd be awsome, because while I'm decent at RPing Naval Warfare (fought many naval battles, never lost one), I have no clue what to choose. Otherwise, I'll keep the most modern of these and refit them like the US did to the Iowa with modern systems etc.

Actually though, I might buy both yours and WSPs. And keep in mind that when I buy things like this, I buy alot. I'll study them and then make my decision, but I need tanks, ships, and....thats really about it...

OOC: I would go with Praetonia or Questers for ship, NS tech > RL stuff. Even with a refit with modern systems its going to be rubbish, outdated systems and old hull designs.

Your not going to be able to fit like a nuclear reactor in an Iowa, the most you can do is do like 1980's upgrades on them, nothing major or hugely modernising.

Wanderjar to be Red again, reorganizes Volks Armee

http://img488.imageshack.us/img488/3593/wanderjarvolksarmeegu2.png
A group of volunteers wait for the train that will take them to boot camp

Baker turns around, Wanderjar is better Red than Dead

Just a few days ago, a group of Wanderjarian veterans started a revolution that would change their nation once again. Led by an ex-sergeant, this group of ex-soldiers managed to fight off the police and the army long enough for Emperor Baker to reconsider his stance on the nation's politics.

Wanderjar, a nation that limits The World Soviet Party to the East, had a long history of having a rather militaristic culture, centered around honour and the mastering of the art of warfare. All this, while being communist in nature and providing for all of their citizens.

However, when world politics showed that communism wasnt as accepted as capitalism in the world stage, and needing to gather support for it's "New Prussian Empire", Emperor Baker decided to take a 180º and switch his nation's economics.

This wasnt aproved by the majority of the population, but the loyalty these people felt towards their leader blocked any thought of protesting against this unfair system.

That is, except for a group of veterans, who confused by their Emperor's change of ideals, decided to stage a protest against the new measures, asking their leader to take them back to their glorious past as a honourable, fair and just nation.

Unfortunately, the police intervened the peaceful protest, dispersing it with live ammunition fire and causing many casualties among the protesters. This was the last thing people expected to see, and many rushed to join the on-going fight for freedom, helping the once-sergeant and now a general revolutionary (who has asked us to remain anonymous) to take control of Warsaw, the Wanderjarian capitol city, in an effort to convince Baker to go back to his old ways.

Apparently, Baker took the hint, and publicly announced that the nation wouldreturn to it's old ideals, as well as cleaning itself of any shadows of it's capitalist time. A war with the Corporate Alliance is expected.

We, here in the World Soviet Party, can only but praise the brave men and women that fought to bring their glorious nation back to it's socialist status, as well as it's role in world politics, helping the oppressed and fighting the oppressor for the good of the people.

There have been no official comments from neither our or their goverment at the time.
