Persecution and Hatred

It was a schorching humid day for Johnathon Albross as he traversed the great empty land (that constitutes what the Boer called the great Karoo) in a cavalcade of Horse drawn wagons towards the eastern regions of the dominion where substantial gold deposits were allegedly meant to have been found.
Albross had no liking for the Boer settlers (who actually reached South Africa 30 years before the Anglos) and the fact that he was heading out of the Anglo dominated southern province towards where the Boer were settling only exacberated the matter exponentially.
Nevetheless he had devine orders from the Shepard himself as governor of the AngloBoer dominion to find out whether the allegations of vast gold and diamond deposits were true, even though they were made by lowly Boer settlers and pioneers.
The journey eastwards was estimated to take months past treacherous dirt roads and primitive native, Anglo and Boer outposts and settlements and up to what the boer called the high Veldes.
Albross smirked, "bloody Boer idiots" he thought "They are still better than the negroid slaves but ony just...."
Albross A huge levathian of a man than reached out to one of his Black maidens who he specifically ordered to "assist" him in his carriage.
