I am creating a forum for aspiring authors. You will be able to post short stories or go to a long-term section and begin posting chapters of a novel your writing. Everything will be protected and anyone caught 'copy-pasting' will be banned FOREVER! There will be sections for explicit material: stories directed at a more mature audience. There will also be sections for: sci-fi, fantasy, warfare, ect... Just post your short stories, post chapters from books your writing. Anyone interested?

Well, being an author and being unemployed kind of work hand in hand I guess (at least for me, because I don't consider writing a job. And I'm only 15 so....yeah)

Can we use our NS nation in our stories? If so, i'm in :D Also, I think you might want to put this in the OOC section of the forums here. I'm not sure, but this thread isn't involved with NS rp'ing in anyway. I'll sign up when you put a link though. ;)

Actually it is. Because this is where the forum's writers reside. Thus, we get the most use out of it. See? It makes perfect sense.

Yes, and you can post something in introductions. And if you absolutly cannot resist the temptation to begin posting in the stories sections you can go ahead. I would prefer you wait till it was completely done. But it won't bother me either way.

He should make a fan fiction section then if people want to write stories based off other stories that are copy righted. Also, if the owners of Warhammer 40,000 say you can't write stories off of their books then you have to delete it. Or get sued. This works for all copy righted martial and it's best if you (can) ask permission before posting.

No, I'm using my NS name, it keeps saying ''incorrect activation data''. It asks for the username in the activation email which is "Kulikovia". I type it in and I get rejected, yet somehow I am a member. It's driving me insane!

The Company allows people to submit stories readily. They used to have an entire magazine dedicated to it. They actually encourage it.

I just noticed this, but you forgot the following (see below). Just remember that this is your site and you can pretty much do as you please, but you did ask for suggestions. :)

Technical: This is where users report bugs, problems or any other questions they have for admins/mods.

Off-Topic: This is where people post things about themselves or just off-topic. So instead of writing a story they post things like thier life or users can talk about other things like current events, about stories on the site, ideas for new stories, etc. This a must in a way. People get a little jumpy when there isn't an area like this and flame wars tend to start.

Suggestions: Explains itself. This is where users come to tell you their ideas for the site.

I have no idea what is wrong with your account Kulikovia, I didn't set up the forum to where I would personally allow each member access. And thanks for the suggestions on the forum Green Hawk and everyone else. Alright, apparently loading the permissions page is too much for dial-up to handle, so I will give you all your mod rank when the weekend roles around and I can have access to high-speed. And the forum I guess is as complete as it can get. So feel free to begin to post your stories. And remember: Just have fun! ;)

Best to come with both ;). Seriously, all this is a fun thing I started so that people can come up with stories and post them. So that they can be read and enjoyed. I made it so people can have fun writing stories without the threat of being humiliated and called a crappy writer.

I have no idea what the problem is. ONly you and Kulikovia seem to be having any problems. You are on the users list. And so is Kulikovia, try to post log on to the site with what you already have.

No, its just that I am on the writers forum and cant spend a lot of time here right now.
