Barkozy has no formal head of state or government.

Natural Resources: oil, some coal, bauxite, low-grade iron ore, calcium, gypsum, natural asphalt, silica, mica, clays, salt, hydropower
If you look up the definition of failed state, you will inevitably find Barkozy. A crossroads for people of various ethnicities, attempts at governing the region were serious failure due to a lack of representation. A few years ago, the latest attempt at a state, a federated republic, dissolved itself, with the national army opening the military bases' doors for people of the respective ethnicities of all the brigades in that national military.
At present, the country is dominated by seven different major militia alliances and hundreds of smaller, local militias. Imports and exports are handled by importer groups who make periodic runs through the pirate-infested coastal waters. While infrastructure is decent at the moment, it is deteriorating due to a lack of interest. After the first year people were stripping the railroads bare for the steel. Power lines are often cut and power is generally supplied locally.
Barkozy is generally crime-ridden in most areas and a major hub for drug transactions. The borders are not patrolled and thusly immigration and emigration is completely free.
