OOC: You don't have to RP in the ST universe to be in this thread.
I may not respond to every post asking permission to dock. This is because I have limited time and it will take forever if I respond to posts which don't further the RP. Just assume I'm allowing you to dock (unless you're something like Borg or Dominion)

IC:

The runabout Rio Grande was running on impulse power as she approached DS9. Lt. Cdr Jadzia Dax was piloting the vessel as it began docking procedures. Aboard the Danube class vessel was Captain Benjamin Sisko, the CO of the station and the prophet's emissary to the people of Bajor.

Sisko was returning from a series of highly important meetings with the Provisional Government of Bajor. His only obstacle was the Bajoran Kai, Winn Adami. Luckily, the government was dismissing her continuous wishes to cut all ties with the IDF government in Primus.

"Being the Emissary sure does have its benefits old man," remarked Sisko as the runabout touched down on the platform built on the Habitat ring.

"I'm just surprised you were able to keep your cool," responded Dax. "The Sisko that Curzon knew certainly wouldn't be able to do so. At least your position with the wormhole aliens gave you sway over the provisional government."

The landing pad lowered itself into the docking ring and two large doors closed above. Once the hangar was pressurized, the runabout's doors opened allowing Sisko and Dax to exit.

It was a typical day for Odo on the Promenade. Another fight had erupted at Quark's. This time, the victim was Morn. The lurian freighter captain had gotten into an argument with one of the shady merchants who came in and out of DS9 on their way to try their luck in the Gamma Quadrant.

The argument had ended with Morn being severely beaten. Dr. Julian Bashir had little trouble tending to Morn's injuries.

Odo had arrested the man in question on charges of assault and battery. He was being held in a holding cell. After Morn was discharged from the infirmary, Odo had Morn file a report with him. Morn was then allowed to return to his business.

"Hmmmph," thought Odo. "That lurian sure loves to talk everyone's ears off."

At Ops, it was business as usual. With Major Kira off duty, Worf was the watch officer on the station at the current moment. It was a relatively routine day. O'Brien was fixing some circuits.

Nothing of importance had occurred recently, but the crew always kept a watchful eye on the wormhole for fear of Dominion ships coming through it.
