Char/Band/Nation mix RP

ViZion is looking to hold an international Battle of the Bands in Vitalia, ViZion's capital city. We are looking for the best bands from across the globe of all genre's as we look to host the largest concert, and the best band selected from each genre voted on by those attending as well as those watching it from their living rooms.

We are looking to have have a turnout of at least 40 bands and 2 million attendees to the concern. We are now accepting registrations from bands (deadline being in 1 RL week) as well as those who wish to attend the International Battle of the Bands (deadline 10 RL days)

We are also looking for nations who wish to host in in years following. The first three International Battle of the Bands will be located in ViZion. After that is up for grabs!

So, represent your nation! Come, register your nations best bands, and remember, we're looking for a turnout of 2 million attendees! The International Battle of the Bands is to land a full 7 days! Woodstock? Yes, times about 10000.

here is a taste of one of the pop groups currently rocking a storm among those that like uhm this type of sound, it is composed of 7 so year old former military who grew discontent with the said police state aspect of a ruled life, three female guitarists a male vocalist someone handling the electronic compoenent and a drummer who in this track is working through an edrum kit, with one hand and his mouth. The group is known as Bstrungline. The vocalist on the track was hanging upside down at between 150ft to 2 ft off the ground for 40 minutes and nearly passed out by the end of their latest concert that this was bootleged from

Although they have yet to win a BOB they have had some crowd support.

It's not that heavy but has more impact at 100+dbs.

Tramonto a mezzogiorno (Sundown At Noon), an extremely popular jamband from Nueve Italia, respectfully asks to perform at this Battle of the Bands.

Their style is somewhat different than what most people are used to. Jammusic focuses on key rhythms throughout a song, leaving most of it open to individual style and interpretation. Due to this, a majority of their music is purely instrumental, but some of their songs are grounded enough to have vocals as well.

The band's members include:

Macario Scintille- Bassist

Piero Vasaio- Drummer

Terzo Fornaio- Vocalist

Their upcoming album is supposed to be Platiaum with already 500,000 Preorders.The Group is known to be Very Lyrical and taking other People beats and turn them into a better Song.

The Kregaian alternative/hard-rock band, Diamond Twilight, would like to attend; they are working the date into their worldwide "Best Served Cold Tour", having released their latest album Revenge in February 2007. Their debut album, Pistolwhip, came out in 2004; they spent 2005 touring, while 2006 was spent writing the new album. Singles released so far include the epic ballad "Battle for the Pass", the aggressive fight song "Pistolwhip", and the alternative smash hit "Thunder Walker", among others.

the Deviants are a thrash metal band with a large following that often do wild stuff on stage like showing up wearing nothing but socks or kilts. Once their bass player painted his ass black-light red and gave the audience a glowing fruit-bowl under a black-lite spotlight.

Supersonic is a teen prodigy electronic band that has been gaining a large following- can go as long as they are in bed by 1:00am.

Raven is a metal band described as a cross between Metallica's sound and the Doors lyrics.

Red Tide is an alternative/metal band that makes EMO people cry with their loud angry energy: described by critics as a pissed off and cranky Tool.

Drunken Orgy is a popular college band that... oh hell, you get it.

Meh apathetic alternative that sounds good but inspires no one.

The Most Serene and Holy Altaic Empire of the Two Nations would be glad to send three bands.

SYSIO, Golden Forest, and Cloud Nine Maxion will all be attending the International Battle of the Bands.

OOC: The BotB thread is coming shortly. In a day or so. As for playing, you guys can post up as many as four songs - amusing you have any. If you don't, just say what song it sounds like.

For the order, it'll be who posts first goes first, honestly, as there's so many bands and not a ton of organization on my part.

And for the judging, I'd like to get 3-4 judges who are not involved to help vote. While they'll have the ultimate vote, people can also post the way they feel on who is best.

I'm gone until next Saturday with no comp access. Could you guys do me a favor and hold off the judging until I get back?
