So, I was thinking, would would be interested in an ancient-times-based and later (2K BC-500 AD based-nations) world war? You can select nations similar to Romans, Persians, Hellenistic Greece, Sparta, Egypt, Carthage, Mongolia, China, Vikings, Aztecs, Mayans (yes, Native American-like nations would add a bit of interest to this RP), and so forth... thrust into one time... the ability to build, advance, work together... and alas, war with eachother in a world war of past times.

Thoughts on this?

*NOTE: You will be RPing countries similar to Rome, Greece, etc with tech, population, etc closely resembling them (you cannot say "I'm having my country be similar to Sparta and I have control of half the land and have 100 million people!" as that's not close to it... having, say, southern Italy and a couple million people, that's a bit closer. Same goes for other nations...), being able to build/advance from there until the time that war breaks out. You're not RPing as Rome, Greece, etc, just ones similar to them in tech, land, population, and so forth.

Also, please note that this is not alternate history. This is simply making a nation that is similar to that of past civilizations and putting them into a massive world war.

Let alone 8-10 billion nations for us '03's.... but that's not what we're talking about. We're talking about RPing as Rome, Greece, etc with their technology, population, and so forth. You'd then work on improve tech, using strategy, etc to take sides. As two (or more) sides form, war would then come about, causing a WW of those nations.

No ones choosing yet. Just seeing what kind of interest there is so far. If there's alotta interest, then we'll begin planning this RP and having people choose.

Hey, I really wanna be in this, however, I have to go and will not be back on til sunday. Is more than 1 person allowed to RP as a Spartan type nation? If so, Then I wont worry about it. If not, then will you save it for me?

Only 1 person can have a single nation. And there's no Sparta, there's only a nation you create that's similar to Sparta. :) Yes, I'll have it for you.
