Operation Sword of Guideon

"Armor Brigade, advance!" Called the General from his position in the Army Corps HQ Southern Iraq. The mix brigade of several hundred T-72s and T-80s proceeded to roll into the territory of Kuwait. The rogue Government of Kuwait and its oil rich lands would soon fall to the might of the Wanderjarian Islamic Vanguard.

General Hassan al-Basra commander of the Iraqi 7th Armored Division ordered the first Armor Brigade to advance south into Abdaly, a city on the border. Aircraft had already begun soaring over, bombing any enemy military bases and istallations, and all Communications facilities. The cities of Al-Abdaliyah, Al-Wafra, Al-Nawasib, and Ash-Shaqayah all fell to several Wanderjarian Arabian Infantry, Armor, and mechanized divisions quickly. The enemy police forces put up minor resistance, but quickly fell to the Wanderjarian Armor and heavy infantry.

They pushed forward, into Al-Khiran, Al-Subayhiya and Fahaheel. Fighters and bombers continually bombed the capital of Kuwait City as well. Artillery battaries attacked high priority targets across the country with fierce aggression. Within two days the small nation had completely fallen to the overwhelming attack and impressive Blitzkrieg tactics employed by the Wanderjarians.

The enemy resistance continued of course, as this was to be expected. But counter insurgency methods were employed, and resistance was treated harshly. Cities which resisted had every home searched and should the people inside turn out to be resistance members, they were all executed.

Within a week, the majority of the major cities were completely pacified. The small country could scarcely hope to hold up to the might of the Wanderjarians.

This was only the beginning of Operation Sword of Guideon.

No, this is part of the the AWOP RP. Damn, I see I didn't add that to the title. Sorry about the confusion.

I would like to enquire as to what lawful grounds you could possibly have for launching a spontaneous invasion of Kuwait?

The Islamic Empire does not recognize this nation's supposed "Sovereignty" and feels that it is the territory of the Wanderjarian Islamic Empire. It has been pacified, its people are being well treated now, and the oil wealth we are bringing in from our own country not to mention the now being harvested oil resources from Kuwait are bringing much power to this once insignificant nation. It is better off now as a part of the Coalition of Allah.

The Sword of Guideon had not only been intended to cleave the nation of Kuwait. Now, with Kuwait under firm control by the Wanderjarian forces, two Iraqi Military Divisions were kept in country to maintain order. Meanwhile the other divisions would turn their attentions to other areas. The next target would be the United Arab Emirates. This economic powerhouse would escalate the Wanderjarian Islamic Empire into the realm of being a world superpower with its addition. It was a very small nation, thus would fall under the might of the Muslim Armies quickly, however it would have to be done without collateral damage which could potentially harm its economy, something which their commanders had taken much time to plan.

The Islamic Airforce only bombed military installations. With their armored Corps utterly devestated within hours of the wars beginning, this left only one of several infantry brigades left to the defense of the homeland. Mechanized and Armored Divisions rolled into the country after news that the enemies airforce and Armored Corp had been annihilated before even starting their engines. Dubai fell within twenty four hours. With Five Armor, Mechanized, and Infantry brigades besieging the country, they never stood a chance.

Another nation fell to the glorious Army of Allah.
