The Scottish Kingdom of Wanderjar is situated in the Highlands of Scotland, and ruled by a benevolent monarch, King Blair. Blair is a man of high virtue, but also of astounding courage, believing in leading his armies into battle and fighting along side his men. Leading the charge into glory.


The Scottish Kingdom is a nation of 500,000 people, each living in small villages and some larger cities. Rather than large standing armies they maintain village militias which drill each day in the art of warfare.


Order of Battle:


1st Highlands Rifles
2nd Scots Guards
5th Gaelic Grenadiers
7th Scottish Borderers
18th Howitzers
22nd Horsemen
33rd Horsemen


Each unit was a regiment of 2,000 men, each led by Colonel and grouped into the 1st Scottish Corps. This is led by General MacGregor, a competent Commander, and respected by his troops for his fairness.

((Its a bit early to have large amounts of men with rifles, the British only issued them to a single regiment in the Napoleonic Wars, and thats some time from now. Most modern nations are just now getting flintlock muskets. And right now howitzers are the cutting edge of cannon technology, historically they were only in use in the Netherlands until later on.

I realize that mate. The Rifles is only being used for a term, not for the actual "rifle". They are all armed with the good ole flintlock musket.

OOC: It was standing professional army, however this was still being implemented because they began the process in about 1650.
