Response From the Foreign Services Offices Americas to the Diplomatic corps of the Naashan Canadian Union

Subject: Diplomatic Exchange

Body:
The Republic would be most honored to open an embassy in your great and in the lovely city of Ottawa

We welcome a Canadian Embassy.
However we establish foreign embassies as closely to the foreign nation as possible. As well the representative to the Americas/Europe is the Icelandic President Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson.

On occasion due to extreme proximity Embassies are open in other regions of the Republics. However since Iceland is nearest to your lovely nation it would be policy to place the primary Embassy there, and consulates elsewhere.

So we hope the humble city of Reykjavík, Iceland will suffice for your Embassy.

Consulates maybe established in any city you wish with in the republic.

Offices of Foreign Service America
Signed
With Respect
Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson
President of Iceland
