OOC: Technically, I haven't "oppressed" Sumguy, nor placed him under my yoke. Besides taking a small parcel of land and imposing temporary military restrictions, Lord Sumguy is as free as a bird. With clipped wings.

OOC: oops, mixed up the date. smuggling wont be neccesary after that point anyway. I never assumed that the army would go back instantly, I merely pointed out that smuggling wouldn't be needed.

Preperations were being made at San Diego Airport and other places in Calizorinstan for Lord Sumguy's arrival next week, the runway was being repaved, a terminal expanded for VIP jet's, and more radio towers installed in the nation to broadcast the news..., and Calizerin Wireless was putting up more ads, about how they've expanded into Lord Sumguy...

Lord Sumguy boarded a private jet and took off toward Calizorinstan. He would arrive in approx. 3 hours.

President Arnold prepared for Lord Sumguy's arrival, John Macked wasn't there, for he was in British Londinium, spending a couple days there, to negotiate with the British Londininians.

Lord Sumguy's plane landed, and he steeped out, admiring the nearby terrain, and saw President Arnold he walked over to shake hands.

President Arnold greeted Lord Sumguy and said "I'm dearly sorry that John, our foreign minister couldn't be here, he's in British Londinium right this second.."

"I see, it is perfectly alright. What is it you wished to speak of?"

President Arnold smiled and they got in the President's Ferrari Diablo and he said "Well, first and foremost, how are relations between Calizorinstan and Lord Sumguy?"

"I think that is up to Calizorinstan. When I told you that i forgave you, i meant it. It is your choice whether to be our ally or enemy." Lord Sumguy said, smiling.

President Arnold smiled and said "I'd like to be your ally, although, I don't want a war with British Londinium on our doorstep, so I'm going to see if British Londinium will be our other ally.."

"Indeed. I have been trying to get on their good side as well, to prove that they were mistaken when they saw us as a threat, but they are most resistant to any acts of goodwill. Heck, i endanger my own troops to keep theirs safe from a riot, and their general threatens to invade and commit genocide!"

President Arnold said "We're going to have a 50 minute drive ahead of us, we're going to John Macked's house for dinner, he gave me his house key's, his beautiful wife Jenny's is cooking dinner for us at this minute, indeed it seems that it's hard to get on the British Londininian's good side, but John says that the Londinian that met him was very nice, and cute also!"

"Dinner? Wonderful! I'm starving. Those Londinians are indeed confusing, I still can't tell whether it's their government or their military that's really in control, and that will make all the difference in diplomacy with them."

Jack nodded and before their eyes, a Calizorinstan Navy F-9C (The VTOL/AESA/Vectored thrust version of the F-9F, and it's single seat) prototype, landed and the road ahead of them, and John braked, but luckily, it there was only 2 other car's which stopped. The pilot got out, and walked up to Jack's door and said "I'm, Col.Bob Bradwell, I was taking this here bird on a flight, and I see, Hello Lord Sumguy, I am the test pilot for ARDC, which built this beautiful bird, actually, don't tell the navy, even though it's painted in navy marking's, this bird is for the Calizorinstan Army, they're going to deploy these thing's on highway's, you can see Jack, and Lord Sumguy, off to the right, in the wood's, a make shift base.." Jack and Lord Sumguy turned to see, in the wood's, they had difficulty seeing it, but there was barracks, and a short little runway, with BOQ's, and Bob grinned and said "I'm going to tow this beauty over there, it won't take long.." He got in the F-9C, and a runway tug, came and towed it across the highway into the wood's, and Jack started again and grinned..

"What was that?" Lord Sumguy said. "a plane on the road? And i thought my generals were obsessed with air power...I'm a ground fighter, don't much care for air or sea, probably because guerrilla tactics don't work in such environments."

Jack grinned and said "You'll see plenty more on your return journey, these are back up airbases incase our main one's get bombed, same thing with army bases, ah..." A soldier, in a helmet that resembled a Nazi soldier helmet, with a Calizorinstan Arms Ares III walked over to the driver's window, Jack's side,and said to Jack "Your I.D please sir.." Jack handed over his I.D, and the soldier verifed and said "It's good, good day sir!" the soldier saluted Jack, and Lord Sumguy and Jack drove off, and turned onto a more populated road, and he said to Lord Sumguy "We've got hidden army bases too, in case British Londinium attacks us.."

"Unfortunately, i wouldn't put it past them.. speaking of unwarranted ahnihilation, i wish to discuss the Hegemony."

Jack sighed and pulled into the driveway of John and Jenny's manor, and said in surprise "Wow, we beat her to her house!", Jack hopped out, and got the key's out, and opened the door, and Lord Sumguy followed, and he and Lord Sumguy sat in the spacious living room, on the couch and he said "It must be those F-9C's crossing the road.."

"I like this couch, it is much comfier than the chair in my office...So, about the Hegemony.."

Jack had a very pained look but brought the disk that contained the Hegemony info, and said "We, as a nation had very good reasons to leave the Hegemony, one, if we hadn't, undoubtedly British Londinium would have gone after us, two, our world rating would've fallen, and three, we were afraid of being nuked.."

Just then, Jenny Macked walked in, and she was wearing a very fancy dress, and a 3 inch high heel's, and makeup, and she smiled and Lord Sumguy, and she sat down next to Jack, and kissed him on the cheek, and rubbed his back and said "I am Jenny Macked, John's husband, he's in British Londinium, as you've heard from Jack, I am also Jack's best friend, I presume you're Lord Sumguy?" She held out her finely manucured hand, with pink paint on her fingernails and grinned at Lord Sumguy..

"A pleasure to meet you ma'am." Lord Sumguy said, shaking her hand. "Back to what i was saying John, i wasn't referring to the past Hegemony, but the future. I wish to remake the Hegemony, and this time with no...mistakes..concerning our intentions. I implore you to keep this a secret, and Calizorinstan is in no way required to join. If successful, the new Hegemony would take a far more humanitarian role, with less militarism than i foolishly acted with before..."

John smiled and nodded and said "I'd definitely join the new Hegemony, I'll keep it a secret, I agree that we were, I mean by we, the Hegemony too militaristic for our own good, it lead to our downfall.."

"Indeed. However, before we can start it anew, we must gain some large allies that are strong enough that we will not be wiped out by the first land-hungry dictatorship that comes around and decides it likes our natural resources..."

John nodded and Jenny arose quietly and said "It's time for dinner, it's steak and mashed potatoes and some pizza, I made all of it myself, except for the steak, I only cooked it.." John and Lord Sumguy walked to the dinner table and prepared to eat..

"Mmm.. I love steak...It all looks delicious." Lord Sumguy said, sitting down. "Thank you again for this wonderful meal madam."

Jenny smiled and said "You're welcome dear, anybody who's friendly to Jack here, is my friend.."

"And a friend of Jack's is a friend of mine as well." Lord Sumguy said, smiling brightly. "Well Jack, is there anything else you wish to discuss?"

Jack smiled, and turned on the T.V to see a picture of the R.C.S Mira Mesa, blowing up in the harbor of San Diego, in reality 5 miles out, with an atomic bomb, and his face turned to horror as the CNN headline read, "Khilistani Terrorist's blow up Calizorinstani Naval Vessal..", and he saw it turn on it's side, and he groaned and said "I think this might be something worth discussing..."

"....what? A nuke? Goodness....do you need me to send people, money, food, or medical supplies to help?" Lord Sumguy said, turning his cell phone on, and looking for the number to his office.

John stared at the screen, the ship slowly righted itself, and heavily damaged started going back into port, and said slowly "I think only naval workers, and red cross workers are needed, holy cow, it righted itself.."

"Done." Lord Sumguy said, dialing his secretary. "Hello, this is Lord Sumguy. I want every humanitarian aid worker and military naval engineer available in Calizorinstan as soon as possible. I don't care what parliment says about my humanitarian spending! Tell them if they aren't willing to give what we have, i can always take it out of their salaries. Yes i know it will annoy them if you tell them, that's exactly the point. Thank you. Goodbye." He chuckled softly. "She told me i was an inspiration to obnoxious people everywhere. Parlament's been trying to cut my humanitarian aid spending for years, they've had no success yet, fortunately." He turned back to Jack, his expression serious again. "Will you be needing any help with counter-terrorist operations against whoever did this?"

Jack nodded and said "That'd be a wonderful idea, because we'll need to search all over, the good news is, the ship can be fixed we think, I just got the news on the P.D.A that it'll take it 1.5 years to put it back in service again, but that's a small price, because it'd be about 67 billion new to buy another one of those Peter the Great class battleships."

"67 billion? That's a quarter of my defense budget! In that case, perhaps my government should handle, or at least pay for, all civilian reconstruction and aid, as your govenment has already incurred steep losses to your economy, and soon, to your import and export trade."

John nodded and said sighing "I think that's what the government needs right now, I think the hit to our economy was the real reason behind the attack, they wanted to strike us where we hurt."

"Good, i was hoping you wouldn't refuse. Now, on to a lighter note, i believe the only member of your family i have met is your son and his wife, would you be willing to fill me in on the rest?"

President Arnold smiled and said "He's currently got a deal going with them, they'll give us almost free advanced telecommunications, in return for timber and food, he's got them onboard counter terrorism operations, also, they're going to help us fight Red Star as well, he's a very, very good diplomat. Also, a good hand at a gun, as you will see.." He flicked on a video of an Calizorinstani outlaw with a M-1 Garand walking down the street, waiting for his pals, when John Macked emerges with a Colt Python revolver, and with one shot, killed the outlaw."

President Arnold flicked off the tape and said "That is why I don't have any bodyguards, with a shot like that, I don't need any, saves our budget." Jenny smiled, and said sweetly "Ah, who could that be at this time of our, oh honey, I am glad!" Col.John Arnold walked in his flightsuit and hugged Jenny Macked, then he sat down, still helmet on, and he said "I presume you are Lord Sumguy?, I am Col.John Arnold, I just flew the first Air Force F-4X Super Phantom back here, for the Calizorinstani Air Force."

"Ah, yes, hello! I believe we met at the Hegemony ball?" Lord Sumguy said, shaking the man's hand. "I'd have only one bodyguard myself, if he allowed it." He said, turning back to Jack. "Captain Wall, the leader of the Royal Guard, is a killing machine if ever there was one. Thank God he has morals.. or I'd fear for all our lives. He was giving a report once when a group of assassins burst into my office..." Lord Sumguy shuddered for a moment. "There was blood on the ceiling afterward."

"So, is there anything else important you wish to discuss? I need to be getting back soon, for another international visit."

President Arnold shook his head and said "You are free to leave now Lord Sumguy, we've had a good talk, and Mr.Macked says that he's got a day off in British Londinum, with their very "pretty" in his words, foreign affairs minister, he think's she's cute.."

"Then i shall take my leave. Thank you for inviting me, and thanks for the dinner." Lord Sumguy shook hands with everyone, and left.

President Arnold ran out and said "Lord Sumguy, I have to take you to the airport, you didn't arrive in a taxi, I drove you!" He hopped in the Ferrari with Lord Sumguy...

President Arnold grinned, and said "Ah, tis alright, we can sell you the rest of our F-4L Phantom fleet, they have AESA radar, meaning you can look off to the right or left at an enemy fighter and it will automatically lock and fire the missile at the enemy fighter you look at. They have PW1200 engines, meaning they can supercruise, cruising supersonically, at Mach 2.5, very fast. They have decent time on them, but then again, we've used them to effectiveness against the Khilistani's."

"Then, we've got the F-9 "Barracuda" family, which the latest the F-9C, is a VTOL light attack/air fighter, sells for 35 million dollars, the F-9F, is a two seat fighter, without VTOL, goes for 20-22 million dollars, the F-9T the two seat training version goes for 17 million dollars."

"Also, we've got the EA-6SJ, an improved version of EA-6B, with improved radar, and AIM-120 AMRAAM self defense capability, and special electronic's warfare suite, and we have the MR-6300 family of modular assault rifles, we based them heavily on the MR-63 Stoner modular assault rifle, all configs are 1,500$ a piece. We have the Light Machine Gun, Medium Machine Gun (Think MG-42), HMG, Scout rifle, Commando, and the assault rifle."

John grinned and mopped his brow "Thew, that was alot of stuff to remember..."

"Hmm, ill have those looked into. Ah, we have arrived at the airport, correct?"

John smiled and said "Yes, this is the airport, I trust I'll see you in a few weeks.." He shook Lord Sumguy's hand and hopped back in his Ferrari 308 and drove off into the night...

Lord Sumguy boarded a plane, and left for his homeland.

President Arnold however walked over to his F-14D Tomcat, and in darkness, changed into flightsuit and G-Suit, and put on his helmet, put the luggage in the back seat of the Tomcat, and climbed in, and took off towards New Vontanas under darkness...
