We would like to be among the first to establish an Embassy within your nation. Today's world demands communication between nations, and there is no better way to begin to do so than with an embassy exchange.

In return, plots of land will be established in London and Brussels for an embassy and consulate respectively.

Yours,

Camille Lafayette
International Affairs Secretary

Designated Ambassador: Felicity Dieudonnée

Camille Lafayette,

We thank your government for the offer of an exchange of embassies between our nations and humbly accept you offer. A plot of land will be made for the embassy along the bustling streets of Manilla. Builders from our country will be there soon to build upon the plot. We thank you for the opening of relations between our countries.

Jonathan Wellt,

We will accept the offer of placing an embassy in your capital of Ottowa. In these times it is only best that western and western-style nations (My gov. considers itself that) stick together as the UCCF seems to be in a position of peril at the hands of the POG.

Request for diplomatic contact

With the close proximity between our two countries in mind, it would be stupid to not have some kind of diplomatic connections between the two governments. A simple solution to this would be an exchange of embassies, and we're inviting you to open up an UCCF embassy in Mumbai, our capital. We would also like to establish an Indian embassy within your capital.

Dinesh Karthik,

With the UCCF's recent isolation from the Asian communisty (PoG) the UCCF feels that it must now look towards the west for all diplomatic, militaristic, and social support in it's effort to modernize it's economy. I must regretfully deny your request for an embassy.

Official message from the desk of the Prime Minister

Well, Mr. Qui Chang, we were just looking towards our neighbor, seeking a friendly official way of diplomatic contacts.

Remember that it were you who denied us that contact, and you denied us the possibility to a friendly communication between our two countries. This has nothing to do with the PoG, as that is merely a defensive alliance for our own safety.

Ramaswamy Venkataraman,

And I would like to remind you, that we were excluded from this 'defensive' alliance. With the world unstable as it is Gatway, Futuris, Grueindor, and yourself kick out a fellow Asian nation into the dust? Yes it is I who will refuse to have friendly communication with your nation

As far as I know you never applied to the Pact of Gold? When we joined the PoG there were two other members, Gataway and Gründer.

But you may have as you wish. We will cut all existing ties and trade with your nation seeing that you refuse to have connections with The Indian Union.

The Socialist Federation of Drunken Pagan Weirdos is interested in the prospect of an embassy exchange with its close neighbor, the UCCR. We hope the you will allow us representation in your country; in return, you will be given an embassy in our capital of Augustgrad (RL Taipei). We hope that you will agree.

Sincerely,

To whomever it may concern,

Recent events in Asia (the founding of a "Pact of Gold" and Gataway's declaration that Southeast Asia is in its sphere of influence) have proven to be quite worrying to us, and we believe that they have been to you as well. With this in mind we would like to propose closer military and economic relations between us in order to better protect against the obvious threat that the Pact of Gold provides. I'm not asking for anything drastic as of yet, but we would like to begin heading that way. What do you think?

Sincerely,
Tristram Spiegel

Official Diplomatic Message

Greetings,

I understand the concerns you have voiced, and understand your wish to establish relations with the west. Following a statement from Gataway declaring it's 'sphere of influence' over southeast Asia, I have come to share your concerns regarding the political and military situation of the region.

With this in mind, I would like to offer you the opportunity to host a squadron of twelve Canadian Union CF-18's, along with an expeditionary battalion (around five hundred men) of infantry in the interests of the stability of the area. I feel, and I'm sure you will agree, that the presence of Canadian Union troops in the UCCF may act as a deterrent against any powers with a hostile ambition toward your country's freedom.

Yours faithfully,
Jonathan Wellt,
Prime Minister
Naashan Canadian Union

Tristram Spiegel,

You have suspected correctly. The UCCF is deeply worried at the prospect of Gataway claiming that his sphere of influence extended into my own territory. While I agree that we cannot rush things to quickly- that is not the way of diplomacy but you can rest assured that we will accept your embassy and offer you one in Manilla. As for defensive pacts, we will offer you a Mutual Defense Pact should someone else on the Asian continent threaten your nation.

Sincerely,

Qui Chang
President of the UCCF

Jonathan Wellt,

We are happy to humbly accept the delivery of Canadian troops into our lands. We can offer you several bases, but our province of Vietnam will perhaps be the best place for the units to be placed. Our people will defend Manilla vehemently from any foreign occupation. We ask that your troops be dropped off in secret within our lands under the cover of darkness and with cloaking measures.

My thanks,

Qui Chang

SIC:

Mr Chang,

I am glad that you see the sense in letting us come to your nation's aid. I also understand the need for the troops to be deployed in secret and I will be happy to comply on that front. However, a Canadian presence on UCCF soil will not go unnoticed for that long, I suggest we create a long term excuse for their presence there once they are deployed.

Perhaps Naashan Canada and our allies in the Imperium of Dweladelfia Prime could assist in the training and modernisation of your own military, for example?

Sincerely,
Jonathan Wellt,
Prime Minister

To: Qui Chang, UCCF

We agree to your proposal for a Mutual Defense Pact. Rest assured that, should Gataway choose to make trouble in your area, we will have something to say about it. Should you require military equipment, we may be able to set up a "Lend-Lease" program of sorts. We will, as they say, cross that bridge when the time comes.

In any case, we await the arrival of your embassy, and are sending Mr. Loukas Vyntra to Manila as our ambassador.

Sincerely,
Tristram Spiegel
