MBC INTERNATIONAL

Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) is the primary public information and broadcast network in the Han Empire. Although other services exist, MBC is the only information network approved by the AIC and therefore receives Imperial support for its broadcast of news, information, entertainment, and basic educational requirements by various communication methods, including radio, television, Internet, newspaper, and magazine. MBC's primary role as the television broadcast network holds extremely important sway in the manner MBC functions in Han society, and for the first time, MBC is opening some of its basic Han programming coverage to the world. Turn to MBC for all of your informational, educational, and entertainment requirements!

RE: Advertising/Programming Offer

The Londinian Broadcasting Group is interested in forging a relationship with the MBC. We would like to off your organization one of the LBG's premier programmes, Intel - one of the most popular primetime shows in British Londinium, the show revolves around a fictional MoI secret agent.

In return for giving the MBC rights to this show, all the LBG asks is that the MBC provides our news stations with Daehanjeiguk's domestic news.

Sincerely,
Giovanni Alkali

To All Foreign Companies, Corporations, Entities, Public, Private, and Otherwise:

It is the express wish of the Board of Directors for MBC International to begin branching into a new market of broadcasting, the [podcast radio network] market. Since it is quite apparently a new market, we are looking for foreign sponsors to help finance the programming. We are also looking to create cooperative leases with other foreign broadcasting regimes, to allow MBC to provide accurate and wide-ranging media for its planned broadcast subscribers. A number of criteria are required for the broadcast rights of advertising, programs, and other tid-bits:

* All Contributions must follow the prescribed application label stated in the MBC main site (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=532041).
* All Contributions must be directed for an English-speaking market.
* All Contributions must be approved by the MBC International Radio Broadcasts Division Board of Directors prior to inclusion in MBC Broadcasts.

For any other details, please contact the MBC Board of Directors with the following email (daehanjeiguk@yahoo.co.kr) or via national telegram services (www.nationstates.net/daehanjeiguk).

The great Mondo Advertising was sad. What could he do? His reputation was in ruins, his status as the 'ambassador to the world' was gone, replaced by that damned lawyer! And the Confederacy was coming apart at the seams as a result. The Enquirer publishing an article accusing Jacques of business errors? Talk of a possible lawsuit by the Vietnamese, of all people, against Jacques, for corruption? Indecisiveness that cost the Confederacy any hope of getting involved in that island, whatchamacallit, with those mastedons and such? Failures to win contracts for oil, gas, even gold? "What happened to us!" he shouted.

He had to save the Confederacy from itself. He had to, because that twice-damned lawyer couldn't. Lawyers are too damn philosophical, too damn abstract. What's needed is a strong sense of how people behave, of what sells, of how to sell! Plus, that thrice-damned lawyer was too genteel to fight. Dammit, if Jacques generated sales, who cares how it happened?

But how could he save it? He couldn't possibly do so right now, not after being sidelined so blatantly. He had to rebuild his name, give himself the international esteem that damn-fool lawyer got over Lantol. Then, he'd be able to regain power.

Re: Advertising/Programming Offer

On behalf of the Confederacy of Defense Corporations, I, Mondo Advertising, wish to propose a program for your podcast radio network: "The Fighting News!"

The Fighting News! will be a 60-minute daily podcast, with commentary on the global arms manufacturing industry and on warfare across the world. The hosts would be engaging personalities, and would interview guests of all sorts, from philosophers of war to defense industry spokesmen and critics. We would sponsor it, and would provide funding for The Fighting News!, as well as $1 billion in start-up costs for MBC's podcast radio network.

We greatly appreciate this offer, though the Board must still decide if such programming is useable by the MBC network and whether MBC International can find a market for such broadcasts; after all, if there are no listeners, we will not invite such programming to our listings. We will return with our final decision in a few days.

MBC Radio Broadcasts have taken a brief moratorium, as we painstakingly look for news appropriate for international audiences (i.e. have time to do the damned thing). In the meantime, you can fancy our selection(s) by the MBC Symphony Orchestra.
