President Aszenmil was waiting in a quiet side-room, the conference had ended a few minutes ago, and his Minister agreed that it had been most... interesting.

Anyways, upon recieving the answer to his note, the President ordered his aides to ready this room, check it for bugs or any other spy gadgets, and get a few drinks, of course.

He sat there, in silence, thinking about his new plan.

"Excuse me, Chancellor," General Benjamin St Martin said. "I have business to attend to elsewhere."

Visweswaran nodded, and St Martin hurriedly departed for the meeting room that the Soviet president had indicated.

"Good evening, Mr President," St Martin stated jovially. "I trust that the room is most secure."

President Aszenmil stood up to greet his guest, moving onwards to shake his hand.

"Certainly, the CSI agents have made an outstanding job today" he suddenly remembered his manners "But please, take a seat, maybe something to drink?"

"I'll be fine," General St Martin said, sitting down. "I'm much more interested in your solution to the Aequatio problem."

"I'll be fine," General St Martin said, sitting down. "I'm much more interested in your solution to the Aequatio problem."

The President sat down, making himself comfortable.

"Well, while we were discussing this whole issue with Minister Nevskij, an idea suddenly popped in my mind. Which I have already consulted with the Congress, of course, and that seems most appropiate.

As you might know, several Soviet Corporations have plants in British Londinium, and several Londinian dealers sell their wares in TWSP, as well as planning on setting up factories of their own.

Now, let's cut to the chase, the Aequatians seem bent on going to war with you, now, we Soviets wouldnt like to get involved, as we have good relations with both Aequation and British Londinium, and thus I think the population wouldnt vote Pro-War in the case this popped up as a choice.

So, I'd like to propose to you that the Londinian Goverment allows for a small military base, no more than 5,000 men, you'll agree with me that this is certainly a small number and we'd be willing to host a Londinian base in our territory as well, which would serve as a 'rapid response' force should someone try to invade your nation, of course, having our troops and assets targeted, would mobilize the population in your favour, thus granting the Congress power to move our military to your side.

The official excuse would be that the Soviet Troops are there merely to protect our assets and as part of an Intra-GUSN agreement, so would your own base in TWSP.

So, what do you think?"

"I like it," St Martin stated. "Very much so. Parliament would have been worried about a foreign base, but with a Londinian one in TWSP, it all...balances out. A splendid idea, sir, and I shall report it to the Consul immediately."

"Excellent" Alejandro said as he congratulated himself mentally for having a good idea once in a while, however, one last issue was at hand "One last thing though, and I know I'm not in a place to say anything about it, but I would suggest you try to lay low for a while, to blow the 'unnecessary atention' away, before committing to another conflict or such"

"Of course," the general replied. "The only conflict that we have any intent of participating in is the Cazelian one, since they were the ones to declare war."

"That's ok, and all that I had to say really"

The President rose from his chair to shake the General's hand again.

"Now, if you excuse me, I have another conference to attend to, it was a pleasure meeting you"

OOC: One last thing, how will you name this base?

Mine's called "Outpost Fort".

Oh, and before I forget, could you please tell me where will the base be located? I have already made arrangements for yours to be built halfway between the Capital, Red City, and Aszenmilovich.

OOC: It'll be named Fort Nicosia (my base), and you probably should locate it in between Triumphe, Kensington, and St Andrews.
