For once, Consul Davidson let himself smile. It was a rare occurence, and usually indicated some sort of horrifically sinister and brutally efficient action going into motion. The Parliament murmured amongst itself until the Consul began to address the chambers.

"Ladies and gentlemen, in front of you is the Cazelian declaration of war," he said. "Which, conveniently, serves as the instrument of their doom. We have attempted reason and compromise with these barbarians, and to no avail. They have foolishly declared war on us, and for that, they will meet nothing but pain and suffering. I have authorized the mobilization of Army Group III in addition to the Sixth Fleet to storm Cazelia and teach them what agony truly means."

There was massive applause, only serving to widen the Consul's glacial, minatory smile.

The soldier led the Vetakan through the marble hallways, decorated in gilded gold and adorned with fantastic murals from some of the most famous Lonidinian artists.

When the Vetakan representative reached the Consul's office, he found Sir Alistair reclining a leather chair, sipping a hot cup of Earl Grey tea. Two Prætorian Guardsmen stood in the corners, their HK416 assault rifles slung around their shoulders.

"Hetære...Bones, aca illo?" the Consul asked in Volscian. He paused, and seeing the lack of comprehension on the part of the Vetakan, laughed.

"My apologies, sir. I forget that the world does not speak Volscian," Alistair said. "But that might change, Mr Bones. What can I do for Vetaka?"

OOC: Mandatory Conscription will do that

OOC: It is a rule here that only 5% of your population can be your military at most and any more would cause economic ruin. So that limits you to 7.65 million people in your army. But this also includes support people which for PMT armies is something like 5:3 while for MT armies it is about 1:1. The less advanced your military is the more front line troops it can have.

OOC: Nukes are a bit early aren't they Eurasia? And you are no longer using the F-37 Nemisis? For shame.

OOC: To be honest, neither did I, but they are pure profit. You are still collecting your share of profit on those things you know. Should I credit it as Eurasia or British Londinium?

For all those reading, the F-37 is a stealth F-16 which can VTOL. Also, I still think you should save the nukes and substitute them for FAE Ballistic Missiles.

100 Kilometers to the Coastline of Cazelia, Jakkson City, Cazelia:

The Vetakan Rapid Response Strike Group was a battlegroup made up of Kriegzimmer, Questarian and Praetonian built Technology deployed to Cazelia some time ago her mission was to aid in the Allied Invasion of the nation Cazelia. Although Vetaka rarely made enemys the nation of Cazelia had made an enemy of Vetaka. Cazelian action on the Intenational Scene coupled with its leaders gross misconduct in Vetaka's Ally of Calizornation at the San Dieago Talks it had been decided Vetaka had to respond as a result the Rapid Reaction Force under the commander of Admiral Dominic Pearce. The Flagship of the group was a Feathermore Class Super Dreadnought (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=10646417&postcount=1326)the VDFNS Freedom sailing across the Water in the protection of her fleet. Admiral Dom Pearce disagreed with this mission the Politicians wanted this war, the people wanted blood and seizing a city from a far off nation could do just that although he disagreed and with his Father and the President Powerless to stop it Dom would do what was required he began barking orders:

Aboard the Ships a whole range of Missiles where being readied from Khans to Sovereigns whatever happened the Vetakans where ready.

In orbit, fifteen satellites charged their lasers and fired, creating a near impenetrable lattice of laser energy. Between that and the navy's sea-based anti-missile systems, a mere fifteen missiles penetrated the defences, sinking one carrier and a frigate, damaging several more.

Meanwhile, an advance invasion force of thirty thousand men and four task groups began a concentrated assault at Mortum, clearing the way for a larger force in the near future. Twelve high-altitude B2 bombers firebombed crowded urban areas near the downtown sector, whilst lower-flying A-10 Warthogs (350), covered by fifty Panavia Tornado ECRs, targeted military installations and troops nearest the coast.

OOC: Um, look. Besides the fact that five nuclear bombs apparently had your fleet go unscathed (for the most part, which I feel to be a godmode, because you either failed to realize the destructive power of nukes or made your fleet too big), my fleet is nowhere near your port. You have to allow time for the fleet to actually get to my primary base. Oh, and I have multiple capital ships.

50 caliber shells rattled across a Cazelian trench, tearing marines apart "fucking A-10s" muttered Warrant officer Joe Karmani. the A-10s had been strafing them for days and the Bradley AA vehicles woulnt arrive for at least two days. they needed to hold out for re-inforcements. the goverment was looking for some allies that would help it against the enemy and Duneria already had sent some of their 'Red fist' infantry. it was a race against time. any as far as they could tell time was on the Londinian side

along with the vehicle convoy there were 3 Black hawk and 2 Super Cobra helicopters to give air support. they would arrive in 4 days due to bad weather and orginization troubles

Whilst the Cazelian army was bogged down in Mortum, the Londinian Armed Forces prepared to lay the smackdown on the city of Orlock. Two hundred thousand men in naval transport rushed onto the beaches as twenty La Fayette class guided missile frigates triturated any Cazelian coastal defences, with nearly fifty B52 Stratofortress bombers carpetbombing the city into oblivion.

In the sky, several black dots appeared. More than several, however: dozens, and then they appeared in the hundreds! The Urcean Strategic Air Command had sent 210 bombers of all sorts to pound Mortum.

since gun ownership in Cazelia is compulsory, the citizens in Orlock had formed 3 battalions of militia, primarily armed with AK-47s and RPGs. they had 4 old Sherman tanks and 1 Koeingstiger tank from 40 years ago. their artillery was 2 light pack guns and one 18th century howitzer.

they were outnumbered and outmatched.

they needed to hold them off until reinforcements reached the capital.
they were all going to die

OOC: Cazelia, would you please post casualty reports in Mortum and Orlock? Would it be okay if I were to assume that your militias in Orlock had died, considering that they would have lacked proper countermeasures? Oh, and please explain how a nation with only a 262 billion dollar defence budget can afford to maintain a sizable navy, air force, and army, on top of four hundred nuclear missiles of decent quality? Your armed forces would be about two times the size of the American military, but you spend 25% less then the Americans.

OOC: Nuclear missiles aren't as expensive as all that. And on NS, as long as you are content to use nonindigenous technology, you don't need to spend as much on R&D as RL militaries do.

Doubly so if you're content to use American or Soviet standard designs, which are a dime a dozen on NS due to mass production.

We have had enough of this foolishness. As a gesture of goodwill towards British Londinium, we are committing 500,000 troops, 25,000 Nakil 1A1GU tanks, and a sizeable portion of our 1st Expeditionary Fleet.

They will arrive within the Barronian Territory on the Cazelian coast within days - resistance by the Cazelians will be met with destructive force.

Only about two hundred thousand were killed, and they were mainly the Cazelians residing there when we took over. Two thousand marines though were also killed in the blast."

"Those fuckwads," muttered the Consul. "Well, I'm going to take a nap. Keep me posted on the situation, and tell the Defence Minister to have no mercy."

Thirty bombers set off over Cazelia: with them was total annihilation.

Each city/town was hit with a 10KT bomb.

Maldorian troops, already in their landers, began the long journey towards Cazelia. The mission would not be hard. Cazelian soldiers don't know how to fight and the first war they were in would decide the fate of their nation.

The Maldorian transports slammed into the Cazelian beaches, dropping off infantry and tanks alike. The Marines, of course, immediately took cover in case of any Cazelian defenses. The carrier-based F-18's soared overhead, looking for any enemy positions or armor.

Mortum is still holding out. Marines and Red fist infantry are dug in and have occupied the northern part of the city. the Armored division has arrived, along with the helicopter squadron and 2 tank companies are coming from Caz'e city to re-inforce the garrison. deaths are 8,000,000

Orlock is in Londinian hands, and all citizens are dead. it has become a ghost town. deaths have reached 4,000,000

New Riverport

With the nearly effortless victory in Orlock, there was nothing hindering the two hundred thousand man advance into New Riverport. The soldiers surrounded the city, blocked off its escape routes, and watched in silence as five B-52 bombers flew over the city, dropping pamphlets on the city which read:

Attention all Cazelian citizens:

At this very moment, two hundred thousand Londinian soldiers have surrounded this city. You have no chance of victory. If you resist, the only reward you will get is the executions of your men, the enslavement of your children, and the rape of your women. However, if you yield, then you will be treated sympathetically, and no ill treatment shall befall you. If you are willing to surrender, dispatch your mayor or town leader outside the city limits so that he may inform us of your decision. You have one hour.

5th PanzerGrenadier Waffen SV Brigade; Codenamed "Albatross"

The flight of Stealth X-10s, Thrashia's premier stealth insertion plane, came in low over the sea surrounding Cazelia. The planes were painted black with no markings on them for both camouflage and inconspicuousness. Each ran in near silence, their engines unable to be heard except when they were right upon you. Each of the craft held two full platoons plus their equipment, as well as a few AFVs and light support artillery.

Moonlight streamed down in tirades, lighting the ground beneath the harbingers of death from above, allowing the pilots to accurately see the ground; not that they needed to with their navigational instruments, however having a practical eye to where they were going helped.

Within the hold of his own craft Colonel Heinrich Eichmann contemplated his new uniform. It was a stylized British Londinium paratrooper uniform. He even had the proper rank insignia and authorization papers of a BL officer. It was amazing to put it simply. For the two weeks before this mission Eichmann had had his men study and learn BL call signs, proper signals work, and the needed battle language so they could coordinate with BL forces already on the ground.

According to Eichmann's last intelligence brief, the BL forces landing on the beaches had taken the city of Orlock and were in the process of taking Mortun. Other allied forces had landed on the Cazelian peninsula within the area of Trioda. Bombing of the interior and other major cities deeper inland was taking place nearly non-stop. Nothing could have made Eichmann tingle with pleasure and delight than a full on war, and the same could go to his men of the 5th Panzergrenadier Brigade of the Waffen SV.

Eichmann pressed the vocal mike on his neck, allowing him to tap into the radio of the plane. "Lieutenant Felder, how far until we reach the drop point?" the colonel asked the pilot.

"Coming up on it now sir. ETA, seven minutes," replied the pilot.

Eichmann thanked him and then changed the channel to the secure unit bandwidth of his men. "Actung, actung this is Colonel Eichmann. We're coming up on our LZ. You are the Waffen SV. You know your duty. You know the objectives and our plan. Get it done. Fast. Eichmann out."

The entire brigade parachuted out of their planes at a height of two miles. They dropped just a few kloms outside the city of Kaztania. Their orders were to seize the main bridge in the town and hold what portions of the southern half they could.


Eichmann's equipment glider came down about a hundred meters away from where he and his command platoon had landed in a heap. Two of his adjutants had actually tied up their parachutes and fallen together. As soon as their glider came down they were able to bring out their two jeeps, small six-seated machines that could be fitted with a tripod mounted machine gun.

The brigades AFV company, comprised of several armored cars armed with 20mm to 50mm cannon, and a platoon of Boar light tanks, commanded by Captain Brightly came up on Eichmann's radio. "Sir, 1st company is all down to the ground. One glider came down on a wet field and slammed into a wall. We've lost two light APCs."

"Acceptable losses," replied Eichmann. "Has 2nd and 3rd companies formed up?"

"Captain Slovinka and Major Dieter have signaled me, their moving into the outskirts of the town as I speak," said Brightly. "I have my men revving up now to move in."

"Good," Eichmann looked around. "I'll have 4th along shortly."

"Race you to the bridge sir," returned Brightly. The armor commander was missing having his Tigers and Schwartz Assault Guns, but Eichmann knew the armor commander would make good on his mission and promise to make it to the bridge first.

"Lieutenant Brandenburg, move your platoon on to the city," Eichmann ordered the young officer moving with his men a few dozen yards over beside him. The officer turned in his commanders direction and nodded. His men moved a bit faster through the brush.

Eichmann turned to his driver, Sergeant Florian. "Well sergeant, we've got a town to occupy. Let's get going."

New Riverport

With the city of New Riverport surrounded, the Londinian Army began their barrage. Over two hundred rocket artillery emplacements fired hundreds of missiles into the city. In addition to the rockets' standard explosive load, VX nerve gas was packed into the projectiles' warhead.

Orlock

With the ports in Orlock secured, an additional 300,000 men, supported by over two thousand and twenty tanks, in addition to artillery, landed in the city and marched northwest to reinforce the Londinian lines at New Riverport.

Mortum

With only one thousand casualties so far, twenty nine thousand Londinian marines continued to attack the Cazelian positions, with near constant airstrikes of both civilian and military targets, and relentless naval shelling of enemy troops.

Cazelian citizens are evacuating the country into safer havens, such as Duneria, Lanzanor and Tornar. the President's helicopter has already landed in Duneria. remaining military forces, vehicles and aircraft are headed for Duneria in Operation-Safe haven. The President and the Supreme Comrade have talked and it is being informed that for the time being, the territory known as Cazelia is being abandoned and burned.

I applaud your wise decision to surrender. As of now, the entirety of Cazelia is being placed under coalition jurisdiction, with troops from Urcea, British Londinium, and Thrashia assuming effective control of your entire nation. In effect, your nation is being occupied, and only once Cazelia can prove to coalition nations that they can be a responsible and productive member of the international community will a significant portion of your territory be returned.
