Yea, you're right! But there were not enough of them, so I had to change sport after a while.

My ambassadors mostly come from the Indian Football club Mahindra United (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mahindra_United). A very convenient way to get realistic names to different positions. :)

Creds to you for discovering this!

Prime Minister Ramaswamy Venkataraman was satisfied after the latest contact with President Sambi in BHR. He felt warm and was in a good mode, just at you do when you've helped someone in a jam.

He pressed the button on the intercom-device. Immediately it starts to beep in another room on the other side of the busy street, belonging to Admiral Karam Singh, Chairman of the Naval Command.

"Karam, you know these old frigates we are replacing with the new Shivalik class, what was their name again?" said Venkataraman.

"Mr. Venkataraman, you must be thinking of the Nilgiri class frigate. Yes, We're having four of them in service and two already decommissioned. And two more will be decommissioned later this year." answered the Admiral.

"Okay. Are they seaworthy? I'm thinking of the two already decommissioned frigates."

"Yes. They may be in need of a service, but there's really nothing wrong with them. Why are you asking? Do you want them in service again?"

"Maybe. Will you make sure they will go through the needed maintenance for me?"

"Yes, of course! I will take care of that for you, Mr. Venkataraman." answered the Admiral. But he didn't have a clue to why the Prime Minister wanted these two ships in service again.

The following day the two Nilgiri class frigates, INS Nilgiri (F33) and INS Himgiri (F34), was brought in a dry dock for maintenance.

To: Yugsev Wadl, Director of Internal Finance,

We thank you for your interest in our Nilgiri class frigates. Two of the ships are ready for delivery in a week when the maintenance is done, and the other two will be taken out of our service in a couple of months. Are you interested in on, two or all four of the frigates?

So, how much are you ready to pay for each frigate? They are from 20 to 30 years old (the first two are the oldest), but they are in good condition after our maintenance. We value the to around $10 million each, but the price is negotiable in both money and other kind of deals.

Mr. Dhoni;

We appreciate your speedy response to our question. We are interested in all four with the price that you have named. We will be willing to pay $10 million for each, but ask if they can be paid for in two payments of $20 million apiece, one this year upon confirmation of this order, and one next year. We hope that this will work out for you and it has been a pleasure doing business with you.

Okay Mr. Wadl, this deal sounds fair enough. But I would like to ask you if we could add two things to this deal:

1) The Indian cruising line, Star Cruise India, are interested in opening a cruise line to some very distant place. Is it possible to arrange something with the Federation? Maybe they can go from Mumbai, round South Africa and go up on the western side of South America (in the Pacific) and end up in the Federation where they will stay for a week or something. After going through the canal they go back to India through the Atlantic. Or maybe they should go eastwards from India to start with? Ah, they can decide that later as long as your country gives them permission...

2) I it possible to get free passage for all Indian ships through the canal, for let's say the following year?

And I'm almost sure that there's no problem with splitting up the payment over two years.

Mr. Dhoni,

As per your first request, we would be happy to make the Federation a tourist destination stop for your Star Cruise India line. We offer the cities of Lacvetor (RL Beunaventura, Colombia), Bastanis (RL Barranquilla, Colombia), Opinter (RL Panama City), and Xerwu (RL Nargana, Panama) as possible port cities. Lacvetor and Opinter are on the west side of the Canal, while Bastanis and Xerwu are on the east side. We hope that these cities are acceptable.

As for the second request, that deal certainly could be made for all non-military Kopparbergs craft. Let's say the price for each frigate is reduced by half, then we might have a deal?
