Judicial Branch
The Judicial system of Gataway is broken down into several different courts listed here in order of authority from greatest to lowest. Judges on the Imperial court are appointed by the emperor all other court judges are elected by the people within their respective areas of jurisdiction and there is one judge per province.

Handles matters dealing with companies big business, handles cases concerning government officials, Handles cases appealed through the lower courts

Reviews cases for approval before they are seen by the Supreme Imperial court

Deals with provincial matters, provincial government officials unless appealing them to the Imperial court

Deals with specific cases within the presiding county
