Political Structure

The Fuhrer
The Fuhrer of Kampfers retains almost totalitarian power. He has the ability to declare war, join alliances, and raise taxes. He can create new laws, however he can not grant new powers to himself. He has the right to disband parliament indefintely, however he must keep them around as they hold some powers not endowed to him.
The Parliament
The Parliament is a holdover from the days when Kampfers was a republican democracy. It holds a limited amount of power, and yet it is still very influential. It is democratically elected every 5 years, with 155 total seats. The Parliament still holds several very important powers. These powers include: the ability to vest the Fuhrer new powers, the ability to fully mobilize the army, and the ability to remove the Fuhrer from power if he becomes oppressive.

AS a sign of respect to the Imperial Kingdom of Gataway, Kampfers has upped them to have "Strong" relations. This comes after the Imperial Kingdom promised to sell Kampfers weapons at a reduced rate for a discount when traveling through the Kampferian Canal. Kampfers will also upgrade their relations with Gründer Industries to "Allied" status after the creation of Gründer Industries-Kampfers and the investment of 5 billion dollars into Gründer Industries by the government.

The Indian Union has decided to increase our international contacts, as they are more and more important to us. We ask you if you would like to establish diplomatic connections with India and build an embassy in Mumbai? We would also like to establish an Indian embassy in your capital.

We would also ask for permission to use the Suez Canal at a later state (when it reopens), because a lot of our trade with Europe and North Africa will pass through it. We're sure that we can agree to a suitable tariff of some kind.

In light of the recent events concerning Libya, Kampfers has adjusted their international stance a bit. Dweladelfia Prime has been bumped down to Neutral relations, and Pan-Arab Barronia was as well. However, Barronia was bumped back up to good as they look to have good relations with a pontential ally. At this time, Kampfers is clarifying their alliance with Gründer Industries to be a protective measure for Kampfers, to ensure that their mercenaries do not fight against us and to create new jobs for the populace. Kampfers claims no need to support Gründer Industries should they be attacked, especially if a ally or friend is involved.

Kampfers' recent diplomatic relation changes warrant some explaining. Due to Kampfers' recent inclusion into the Pact of Gold, or POG, Kampfers has upgraded Gataway, Kopparbergs, and Futuris to Allied status. Gründer Industries was already at allied status. Also because of Kampfers' POG inclusion, Honako and H-Town Tejas have been downgraded to Poor, as they have recently made negative comments both about the POG itself and Gründer Industries.
