The idea of this RP is that in the year 2021 a ClassA Super Virus, named Mactabilis (latin for Lethal, or deadly) infects the world wide web and systematically disrupts everything from global communications, to completely taking over the Internet. It is really open for interpretation. I could use some ideas. Anyone interested?

Oh, and the name is not set in stone either, the original virus is called Mactabilis, but it self-replicates into various stand-alone programs that have different names. Feel free to insert a new program for the virus while RPing it will give it a sort of edge.

I like computer tech especially in RPs and I guess it would be possible to take out lots of the 'net (think 'warhol'), but I am MT (with very weird computer tech) and not PMT.

If you are interested, I can allow the use of my AI for this thread, since your idea is very similar to a pre-existing AI that I already have. Simply known as TRQ, our AI is actually a virus that self replicates and has the capacity to very easily take over entire nations and regions; however, she only truly listens to her creator, Der Fuhrer Dyszel, who only uses her defensively in the threat of an attack.

TRQ was developed through an extensive RP, so by proper RP etiquette she really does have the power to take over places, if you are interested. Now, you can use her in your RP or as an antagonist to your virus. Again, only if you are interested. If so, telegram me back and we can discuss this further.

That sounds great. Maybe we could use it to combat the SuperVirus, which as you will learn if I get this off the ground and make the first IC post, is supposed to be a monitering computer program. But it goes on the fritz and begins collecting massive amounts of data off the net, replacing it with corrupted programs that really fuck up networks and computer systems. It goes deeper than that but I don't want to get into too much detail

super virus= all nations loosing control of there nuclear arms which leads to nuclear holocaust. great idea and then because of that the survivors who dont know what just happened try to figure out whats going on things happen towns build up weapons and fight. Basicly your jerico scenario
