In the aftermath of the Doomani-Allanean War, many artists felt inspired by the heroism of Allanean warriors and Kahanistani freedom fighters. Only one, however, had the backing of Allanea’s biggest and best film studio. His name was George Anson Carnegie, and he had made…

On Wings of Eagles
A Simon Phoenix film

Camera shifts to a view of Najaster at night. The streets are lit by thousands of torches – not ordinary torches, but living torches, made out of living humans. One of them is an elderly Jewish man, screaming over the roar of the flames: “Son! AVENGE ME!”

Down in the street, Moshe Rosenberg watches intently, his face distorted with grief and anger, the fires reflecting in his face.

Moshe Rosenberg was an ordinary Kahanistani youth, who had a wholesome life, attended Concord University on student exchange… now, he was a leader, a warrior.

Footage of Moshe Rosenberg, a young, skinny Ortodox Jew, carrying two Uzis, performing a Sedder in an underground hideout full of heavily-armed Jews, giving his sermon:

“Brothers!

By rights, my father should have been performing the Sedder today. But he is not here. He has been murdered. Today, when we are to be speaking of the liberation of our people from Egyptian slavery, we are now under an Emperor who is infinitely more dangerous to the Jews – and infinitely more offensive to the Lord our God. The Pharaoh wanted to only kill every first-born Jewish male – this one wants to kill us all.

But we will not allow this – for does not the Talmud say ‘he who rises to kill you, rise thou and kill him?’ Let us now rise up and kill them, too!”

The camera shifts to a view of Rosenberg with a sniper rifle, and then a view of a young Doomani soldier, as seen through his scope. The soldier falls, and through the scene, Rosenberg’s voice is heard:

“For does the Torah not say ‘Armed did the Sons of Israel exit Egypt?’ Armed we are, and we will exit our own Egypt!”

Then, as Rosenberg continues speaking, there is footage of Doomani being killed and blown up by him and his team – shot, slashed, ambushed, etc. It seems as almost if Rosenberg had butchered entire legions of Doomani single-handed.

“I am giving you a free hand. Let that hand get tired with machete chops. Let your finger ache with gunshots. Let no Doomani escape your wrath. Have no fear and no mercy.”[/i]

But Moshe Rosenberg did not only have bravery. He had also love.

Footage of Moshe Rosenberg in better days, at Concord University, holding an Allanean girl in his arms. They smile at each other, and the girl speaks:

“Don’t you ever worry, Moshe. If something goes wrong, I will take care of you.”

Now, as pilot in the Allanean Air Force, Dina Iden really does help Moshe out.

Footage of an Allanean stealth bomber making a pass over Najaster, JDAMs screaming down towards the ghetto walls. Dina’s voice is heard:

“I don’t care if you think Moshe is dead. I will do everything in my power – everything – to save him. And save him I will.”

Footage of the same bomber making a pass over Doomani positions in Province Egypt, and finally footage of the Doomani city of Aswan as the dam breaks, the Doomani running about and screaming in fear as the great wave comes and flushes them all.

Rosenberg’s voice is heard:

“Spill Your wrath on the People that know not Your name…”

Footage of Dina speaking to an Amestrian reporter: “Guilt? I feel no guilt. You know why I feel no guilt? Because unlike what you think, right and wrong do exist. Good and evil do exist. Sure, I agree – not everything is black and white. But when I see the Doomani, the vermin that burn people by the thousands for their own amusement, for nothing else but their not being of the Doomani race – let me tell you, my own moral grey is so light in shade in comparison, that, yes, I can tell you – it can just as well be white – and their evil is black. I am not ashamed about killing Doomani soldiers and breaking down ghetto walls. I am only sorry I didn’t kill every single Doomani soldier and freed every single camp inmate out there. But don’t you worry, eventually I will.”

Footage of giant Ourboros craft landing off the shore of Eilat and taking Kahanistani on board. Moshe’s father’s voice is heard: “I told you about that, didn’t I? “On the Wings of Eagles I will carry you to the Promised Land…”

OOC: Information about the movie you wouldn’t see in the trailer:

Should you go and see this movie in an NS theater, it would go approximately like this: Rosenberg is a Kahanistani resistance leader fighting the Doomani. Dinah is his girlfriend, who went to college with him in Allanea, and now is an Allanean bomber pilot. Everybody around her assures her he is dead, and yet she continues fighting on against the Doomani. Eventually Rosenberg gets rescued with the rest of the Jews , although of course ICly you wouldn’t know that until you watched the film.

The film of course has lots of special effects and violence. Think of ‘Lord of the Rings’ films in terms of special effects, except set in the Doomani-Allanean War, with gore on the level of, say, ‘Battle Royale’, and of course Rosenberg kills as many Doomani as Rambo in Rambo III does Russians. Acting, however, is likely to be better then you normally see in such movies, as in Allanea this stuff is very popular and this is what good actors are supposed to be doing.
