Lord Masu stood on the hill, looking out on the marching army below. The commanded the army, designated as the 1st Expiditionary Force. It's job was to annex the Mozambique region, in order to establish a presance in southern Africa, and, more importantly, in the Mozambique channel. Therefore, it was imperative that the region be annexed with as little fuss as possible. As Masu watched the army, a messenger on a hourse rode up to him, saluting.
"Sir, I have the scouts report."
"Ah, excellent. How may we proceed?"
"Sir, the villages nearby are all ready to accept our rule."
"20,000 troops has that effect on people, I understand."
"Apparently so, sir."
"My concern is not what lies near us, but what lies ahead. We have 20,000 now, but we will have to split up."
"We have recieved reports of some resistance gathering. it is expected to be rather small."
"Good. Proceed."
