The rejistanian on the stage seemed to be a bit nervous, but he surely has a reason to seeing this is her first presentation as CEO of Sistenha Ines. At Teletix, there never were that many people at a product presentation.

"Hejida hakim, bonan tagon, good morning, ladies and gentlemen. Here at Sistenha Ines, we are always trying to make your computing experience a better one. Our engineer, our programmers, our QA and even that 3 oyki'ny who call themselves marketing work hard on this. This is why we have attempted to determine the biggest problems in the use of our former models and improved these issues without sacrificing the advantages of the former ones." she smiles because that is a citation, which is the default in any rejistani product presentation. "The first issue, clients cite is the speed. We worked on that. Tanhi's law[1] is still in effect, the newest model broke the limit and has 101 Megahertz! Now, you think this is slow? Let's compare: On the left side is an Allanean Arms Gemstone with HyperBase[2], on the right side is our brand new Kanaxivari with Surinam!" as the curtains are liften, the fragile allanean technology and the rejistani computer, which looks like a grey box with the letters Kanaxivari on it. Above of the boxes, the content of the screens is projected. "One million entries per database, one query!" both applications show the query in SQL or MQL (mikreable query language, basically a version of sql where the keywords are named differently so they can transferred into the various rejistani abigus and back without ambigous results). "Ly... xi... mje... han!" the queries are exxecuted and the computers finish in about the same time. It is humanly impossible to determine a difference.
"See? Efficient systemdependant coding makes your most-used aplications still competitive. Another example, please, Start the GUI, can you?" The simple SeA GUI appears on the computer within seconds. "Can you both start an office program to write a letter?" The mice move to a icon of an office program "Ly... xi... mje... han!" The applications load, while the allanean GUI showed a nice animation, the rejistanian one just changed the color of the mousecursor, then first Miji Office appears on the right while Galaxy Office still loaded on the left, but at least showed a splash screen.
"In many situations the GUI overhead is just too much and instead of increased performance, your applications are slower. You sacrifice speed for features you do neither want nor need." Galaxy Office appeared with a lot of animation. "That does not help you anymore. Defeated, you are!" some reporters laughed at her imitation of Xkeliko Susu from "H1SR - first league, here we are". "Let me summarize the new features for the audience: 8 times 101 Megahertz, 64 Megabytes of RAM, 2 gigabyte harddisk. Specially optimized operating systems are UNEK, SI-X and a version of TAREN is under development. We have improved the gnu C compiler and the gnu pascal compiler to be able to optimize for this special platform. And of course the Linik and the Savetari standard are fully supported and this system has 2 interfaces for both. And the Kanaxivari is available in many nations of the NSverse - and that for only 1,320,000 lil'kansu[3]."

[2] While HyperBase and Surinam fulfill the same fuctions, HyperBase is infamous for its lacking performance.

OOC: My basis? a bit SUN, a bit dawn-of-the-32-bit age,... in my history there never was an architecture like the XT-one so there are numerous different architectures. I can answer more detailled questions.
