Dimensional Research... That was what many Novaen scientists and researchers where focussing on, however there were not only Novaens doing the research. Scientists from around the galaxy mainly from the GFFA and other nations closely allied with the Novaens where working closely together.

Their aim to determine exactly what happened and how to create a device that would be able to "translate" a being from one dimension to another at will. This was known to be possible due to the incident along time ago but the current dimensional research until now had shyied away. One the goal had been achieved it was to be spread around between all GFFA nations and with those that helped in it's creation.

Things where going well, so far they had just designed a prototype device that everyone seemed to believe was it, what they had been striving for. The chief Novaen scientists Erk'ah Davidson were all exicted, now all that remained was constructing the device and testing it out.

Merlin Balrok was an outstanding scientific mind in his generation, then like most of his peers he had been drafted into Tidan's military intelligence agency Eclipse. While it took him some time to get used to the secrecy, the things that he was now able to work on and the wonders he had been shown were more than he could have imagined.

Having just been pulled off of the sucessful project to resurrect Tidan's bio space fighters, he had been reassigned to a very secretive pan-alliance project headed by the Novaens.

Merlin entered the labs to start today's shift.

Things in Nova are always reasonably hard for you to get your head around first. Two individuals yet having the same name and treated for all intensive purposes as one. Equipment designed to be able to be handled for both Saurons and Humans, which means some weirdly shaped ergonomics.

And then there are some doors... which almost require 2 people to open them, those of a more creative and constructive among the visitors would have soon adapted to the society where the population lived in peace and contentment. However blind they were to some aspects of the greater universe.

Many of the visitors to Nova had come up with Novel ways of dealing with the various quirks of their hosts, tools that extend reach, or something just to make their life that little bit easier. Not that life was hard but everyone surely would have liked to make it feel... a bit more like home.

Kyr'trk Hall, smiled as they saw Merlin Balrok enter for his shift. "This is exciting, apparently they are still deciding who will test the prototype." The Kyr'trks were all excitable and it showed in their speech and their walk. Kry'trk had been working along side Merlin for the last few months, and yet they didn't really know much about each other.

The Kyr'trks were all excitable and it showed in their speech and their walk. Kry'trk had been working along side Merlin for the last few months, and yet they didn't really know much about each other.

Merlin waved to his Novaens collegues. "Still? you would think that a decision like that would be easier. After all the work we put into making the thing, thats a lot of time to figure out who the right people are for testing." The door opened behind him and he turned and waved to the other Tidani who was working on the project. "Morning Trinia."

Trinia Shade was a tidani hyren, one of the survivors of the recent plague that had killed most of her avian race. She was an accomplished and some what well known scientist of the survivors, what's more important she brought a working knowledge all Tidani learning. The hyren were protective of their people leaving Hyr these days but this time they accepted the position to once again take part in alliance business as part of the Tidani team.

"Good morning Merlin, Kyr'trk." She communicated telepathically as her species was forced to do when dealing with other races. The native tongue of the Tidani Hyren was similar to the screeches and calls of large birds of prey, it is extremely difficult to interpret and translate and usually causes headaches over long periods of exposure.

Merlin returned his attention to Kyr'trk as she joined the group. "I guess we wont be as busy until they actually test it and debugging starts."

Hasalfine stretched in the early hours, still not quite used to the amount of gravity yet. Such was the punishment of being an Abh on land.

Moving to a mirror, he quickly donned his Star Forces uniform and adjusted the shoulders for a better fit. He grabbed his tiara with its one silver wing and placed it on his forehead. With a final check, Hasalfine exited his room and went off for another day in the lab on Nova.

The Kyr'trks smiled and said good morning back to Trinia before continuing to move on. "Right, for now it's like waiting for an expectant birth, alot of nervousness, alot of hopes but all you can do is wait." they said before continuing walking. "You know, I wouldn't be surprised if we* were selected the human said as the Sauron just nodded in agreement. "Anyway, this will take a while... want to get a drink with us*?"

Up ahead the canteen loomed, it seemed busier than usual as all the teams that worked on the research aspect had very little to do.

* A note on Novaen Grammar... There is no concept of "I" so worlds like "mine", "I" singular pro-nouns don't exist. However to accomodate the singular unit of life partnerships, "us" or "our" are used for. "You" is always used as a plural. and we involved a life partnership with one or more other life partners. All individual characters will by Novaens will have the grammar of pluraility and the usage of "I" and other singular words will cause confusion among Novaens
