I have thought about the civil war in my nation and here are some paths I would like it to take.

1. The rebels seize power only to lose it to a foreign supported group.
2. Foreign nation decide to take control of Nova Romania, treating it as a colony, etc.

#1 implies that foreign nations would support another group who wants to defeat the rebels after they take power.

#2 implies that a foreign nation takes control of Nova Romania, treating it as a colony, etc.

I'll join as a group supporting the rebels against whatever group tries to seize power from them. We're non-expansionist, though, so you won't become a colony.

Well I could take out the rebels...and install a Pro-NPE..Pro-Gatawan Capitalist government giving the people of TLP a democracy which would be under the watchful eye of my Imperial government...and instead of treating it as a colony treat it as a protectorate...and ensure that the people have more freedoms and rights than under the monarchy...

OOC: The monarchy does not control the nation, Gataway, it is a constitutional monarchy Also, I thought of the colony idea because I had read about possible expanionist attitudes in other threads.

NPE..New Prussian Empire..its an alliance I am in..that is very anti-communist..although I am fighting currently as my own nation and have no NPE support or backing..but a capitalist democracy will be friendly towards the NPE

If the Monarchy is threatened, I will intervene.
If anarchism looms, I will intervene.
If I am threatened in this mix of whatever fighting, I will intervene.

I'm fine with the results as long as the Monarchy is not harmed (doesn't mean they stay in power either), anarchy is not the rule of law, and my national security is maintained (likely in any case, seeing as numerous other people are willing to intervene). In any case, you shouldn't limit yourself to becoming a piñata for the world to beat upon. I don't hate commies (don't like them either, because they preach "revolution" which is idly similar to anarchy to us), so a communist government is fine.

Of course, we'd prefer it if the enlightened monarchy were permitted to rest in power, while delegating some national responsibilities to the people that apparently so desire them.

I had no intentions of harming the Monarchy..although the communist rebels have already killed or kidnapped them..thus I am installing a democratic government that is capitalist and that my government will monitor closely .as this will not let anarchy ensue..

I just there to prove that you can't just raze cities and declare blockades and not encounter consequences. Gens Roma has already pulled out and unless Chrissila backs down he will no longer have a navy, then my work will be done and I'll let the revolution run its course.

OOC: My nation is not an absolute monarchy, it is a constitutional monarchy. Also, only one member (Princess Flora) of the Imperial Family has been kidnapped.

Well I sent Chrisilia a nice fiery message..if he's smart he'll back down..His economy is broken anyways so he can't put up much of a fight...

what does that mean?...and no I don't have anything against the monarchy...I have an Imperial family myself for crying out loud..I do however have an elected council of advisers..and other local positions are elected..as well as some judicial members..the Emperor however can overturn elections and his word is law..the people in effect are satisfied..while having no real power in government..although they think they do

You can join in, just tell me which faction you support: Rebels or Government.

Ah, but the mafia were going to bankrupt the local court so that the court would not ahve enough money to run and the mafia could get away with what they want. This would raise the level of crimes in the city, which could make the situation unstopable.

Jono..for one this is a discussion thread...secondly..you NEVER rp with smiley's....third...your post need to be more detailed you cant just magically do things...and lastly..read the stickies and such before you start RPing..as no one will take anything you have put in so far seriously..and many will actually refuse to rp with you..

anyways..

We have no diplomatic relations but my nation's government will probably be friendly towards you, probably because it has seen no reason why they should not be friendly towards you.

well I'd hope they'd be friendly..I am sending my soldiers to fight and die for their freedom...
