The Ivory Jaguar

Left-handed warfare was a subject of considerable debate in the highest echelons of the Jaguarite government. Not for any of the moral or even most of the practical reasons associated with straightforward warfare, of course, but for over the simple question of what, if any, effect it would have. Considering that rarely were such efforts attempted on any such a scale, there was the distinct possibility that the men from the agency commonly called SCAR (which stood, rather misleadingly for Situational Command And Readiness) would simply waste a sizable amount of money and end up looking rather foolish.
However, the money wouldn't be enough to damage the war efforts of the Peoples, and in straightforward military conflict, they wouldn't be much use anyways. On top of which, as none of the acts involved in left-handed warfare could normally be concieved of as hostile, it was a seen as a shrewd way to strike at the enemy before the war actually began, without starting the war early. This way, at least, there was the very real (if the men from SCAR were to be believed) potential of damaging the enemies will to fight.
Operation Right Straight therefore, was approved by Phenex himself, and launched immediately into effect. The first stage of it was for agents, using computers rerouted through various systems across the globe so as to minimize the chances of the messages being traced to a Gholgoth nation, to enter internet forums and chatrooms known to be popular among Questarian citizens, in order to make arguments against the war. The arguments, apart from occasionally pointing out the forces arranged against any attack against Gholgoth, generally went as follows.
Automagfreek is one of if not the the most prominent nations in Gholgoth. Therefore an attack against Gholgoth should be viewed as an attack against Automagfreek. Automagfreek is currently in the process of a war against Doomingsland to end slavery in that nation. Therefore an attack against Automagfreek is an attack in favor of Doomingsland, and by extension, slavery. Slavery is the antithesis of freedom. Therefore, an attack against Automagfreek is an attack against freedom.
Logic, however, was only one of the many nefarious weapons in SCAR's arsenal. Shortly after the arguments in the chatrooms began, a number of phonecalls were placed to residence of more or less random Questarians, although several of the calls were placed to the residences of opposition newspapermen. The calls, which in the event of caller idea being used would be listed as an unknown name/number were all variations on one theme, as described below.
Initially, there is heavy, and obviously female breathing. After a moment, a female- and rather attractive- voice says something along the lines of "Please, god, help me." The voice is obviously very much distressed, and sounds Questarian. "Oh god no, he found me." She continues, before shouting "Help! PLEASE!" or words to that effect. This is followed by a heavy and somewhat crunching thud, as of a police baton being brought down, quite heavily, on a human head. There is silence for a moment, and then a male voice, quite calm, but also sounding very Questarian says into the telephone, "This is the police. You had better forget what you've just heard."
This, according to the men from SCAR, was perfectly calculated to sew fear and distrust of the government- and therefore the war- in the people of Questers, and 'in the event of an unforseen protracted struggle, to increase the chances of the election of a government with substantially different policies of that of the incumbent, among which presumably will be the policy of reaching a peace settlement with Gholgothian powers.' The men from SCAR said things like that a lot, which sounded wonderful in theory, but unfortunately, by their very nature, could only be tested in actual full-scale action.
Approximately five minutes after Phenex gave the official go-ahead, the first agent of SCAR made the first post on the Questarian chatroom, under the name "No_Blood_For_Power".
