Brief Historical Background
The Empire of Kilani was born from the a,bition of a single man: the first Tsar, Nicholas Andreyov. In the mid-15th century, Nicholas had been a local lord, living in the then small city of Moskov. The area was ruled by a local confederation of lords/ Through a mixture of political and military manuvering, Nicholas set himself as the head of that council, before finally having all of the other members slaughtered at was ostensibly a peaceful meeting.
From there, Nicholas built an army and set out to conquer the surrounding areas. It wa from that base that Nicholas' sons and ancestors would eventuallly conquer al of the western steppes, and into the heart of Eastern Europe.
