The City of New Theeb
"The City of Peace and Freedom"

The City of New Theeb is like no other city within the Nationstates World. Although a relative new city being only some 10 Years old New Theeb traces its history and heritage back hundreds of years and not to mention back to Old Vetaka and hence Old Theeb within the region of Haven.
New Theeb officially opened some 2 Years ago upon its completion built on a virtual Cliff Face Theeb is located on the New Rogers Mountains and looks out across much of the Spectacular Landscape of Vetaka. New Theeb draws its wonderful appearance from cultures around the world from Britian to the Anicent Greeks. New Theeb itself is surrounded by the Theeb Fortifications of which inspiration was drawn from the Byzantine City of Constantinople. The Theeb Fortification includes Bunkers, Walls, Gun Emplacements, Air Defences and all the rest of the features any modern fortification would require. In order to keep and promote New Theebs Peace and the infamous calming affect Vetaka had the Fortification was built into the city and designed to be disguised within the City during Peace Time.
New Theeb itself is built upon Innocence River which flows down from the Rogers Mountains flows through the city and joins the Lazaurs Sea via the Climax of the majestic and trully inspiring Roxanne Falls named in honour of 2rd Vetakan President Roxanne Wright whom sacrificed herself to repay the Loyalty Oath to the Sovereign League and the Questarian Crown Commonwealth of which Vetaka it was ruled unlawfully left. It is said drinking the water of Innocence River promotes Inner Calm as well as having trully amazing healing qualities although this cannot be confirmed a recent survey and study shows New Theeb to be one of the most Calm and Stress Free Cities in the World. It is said the Water is so pure and calming because the Vetakan National Animal the White Phoenix drinks from the water.
New Theeb is dominated by the Senate Building or "The Palace of Freedom" as it is officially known a picture of the Palace is shown below. The Palace of Freedom houses the Vetakan Senate and the majority of the Offices it is the Political Hub of Vetaka. Located close to The Palace of Freedom is the Palace of Peace which serves as the official residence of the President of the Free Dominion of Vetaka. New Theeb being a coastal city has its own Port known as New Theeb Port the Vetakan Defence Force also controls the massive New Theeb Naval Base just south of the City.
Rumors:
1) During the Construction of the City a Self Destruct system was built into the City to ensure the City of Freedom would never fall into the hands of those whom would attempt occupy her.
2) As an Emergancy Sub Contingency Plan during the Construction a Large Highly Secret Underground Tunnel System was built underneath the city to allow the Defenders of Loyalty to get around the city without being seen and with speed.
3) The City was blessed by the Elves of Wagdog to ensure the city could never be occupied by those who would use her for the purpose of Evil.
The Vetakan Government has neither confirmed nor denied these rumors.

The arch is known as the Arch of Dialogue and Diplomacy it is tradition that all Ambassadors on arrivial to Vetaka must walk through the Arch to trully enter Vetaka.
