National Power Initiative:

With an ever increasing population, and the price of fossil fuels reaching an alarming level around the world, The Newe World Regime realises we must look forward and think long term to sustain the energy needs of our growing empire. The initiatives are in their early stages at the moment, however pending their success they will be undertaken on a much larger scale.

Solar Energy:
Recently, a project has begun to extract a use from the desolate wastelands of our great nation, work has begun to place 16 large solar panels in the socom desert, currently the panels are on route to the project site, where the appropriate concrete bases and steel structures are already in place, the panels themselves are 500 x 500 metres squares, a monitoring station has been built adjoining the main structure, the monitoring station will contain the computer system needed to maintain the panels, motors built in to the steel holding structures will be automatically controlled by the computer system, these motors allow the panels to be angled at the sun for maximum efficiency throughout each day. There are currently 16 solar panels, which, if working properly should generate approximately 40 million watts of electricity per day (That‘s 14.6 billion watts per year.) Pending the success of this project, more panels will be added and our vast wastelands can finally be put to good use.

Uranium Enrichment:
As most N.W.R. citizens are aware, a few years ago, iron ore miners came across sizeable amounts of uranium, over the past few months facilities have been built where this uranium will be enriched, adjoining these facilities will be five nuclear reactors, each capable of a daily output of approximately 17.5 million watts of electricity (that's approx. 6.5 7.5 billion watts per year per reactor) the bi-produced heat will be used to salinate reclaimed sea-water to be treated for use in public facilities, government buildings and the general population.

The construction of these projects has also created many jobs, and will continue to do so as new stages of construction commence, further personnell will be needed to manage and maintain these facilities once built
