I tried this idea before but the thread died. So, I'm undertaking this project again in hopes that it will succeed where the other failed. I went into the old one without thinking it all the way through. It's open for sign-ups and discussion on how to make the rp better.

Archangel Asylum was bulilt in 1877. Located next to the Quabbin Reservoir in Massachusetts. It was here, that societies "undesireable" were left to disappear into a system that cared not for their health nor existance. Handicapped, mentally unsound, and homless people were abandoned to this place and the staff. Horrible experiments were conducted on them in hopes of curing them of their ailments. Years and years went by and the asylum swelled past its' intended quota of persons. The staff reigned over these "crazies" with cold hearts and unsympathetic ears. The outside world forgot about them, leaving them to this fate. In 1909, a terrible event occured. A young nurse was raped and brutally murdered by an inmate who later hanged himself. Over the following months, several other people began to die under strange circumstances. The asylum was forced to close after the horrors of the asylum were finally brought to light; however, this did not bring peace nor closure. For years afterwards, the asylum fell into local folklore and ghost stories. Numerous incidents occurred, people disappeared and reappeared. Aparitions seen and heard. Now, a group of college kids, out for a weekend of fun in the outdoors stumble upon the asylum and a maze of unforseen horrors and uncover a sinister past.

Basically, a group of college kids mess around in the asylum and now must struggle to keep their sanity and lives as they encounter the horrors of the asylum.

Brief Bio: Julia was born in Boston where she grew up with his family. Her mother was an English teacher and father an electrical draftsman. Life for Julia was ordinary, she was an outdoorsman, camped alot and was involved with the girl scouts. After graduating high school she went on to college and majors in Education, in hopes to be an English teacher someday like her mother.

Brief Bio: Skylar has no record of wrong-doings for the last 20 years of his life, but his family though has a different story. They say that a relative of theirs was held in Archangel Asylum and possibly had something to do with the raped nurse who worked there.... He is a nerd and doesn't go outside much, but he hopes to change that by checking out the Archangel Asylum he has long wanted to see.

Jake Watts
24-years-old

Description:
Very hairy, with a fairly thick brown beard and neck-length hair that flips at the ends. His skin is rather pale, typical of a northerner, and his build is utterly average, although he can certainly hold his own in a fight. He has brown, almond-shaped eyes and a pointed nose, and a mouth full of crooked, rotten teeth that saw better days in years past. Both of his arms are smothered in tattoo sleeves, as are his ankles. He wears concert t-shirts, sock hats, and plaid, and dresses warmly nearly year round.

Brief Bio:
Easy-going, fun-loving, and trouble-making is the best way to describe Jake Watts. He dropped out of high school his senior year, got his GED, and entered the workforce almost immediately. As he's a very spontaneous, care-free personality, holding down a job has been somewhat of a problem for him. He's done everything from sales to waiting to construction and valeting; simply put, he's just not cut out for work. He's a smoker, a drinker, and a party-goer. He smokes pot when he's got the money and he's popped all sorts of strange and mysterious pills. He met Julia at a party, and despite being older, has befriended her. He's never heard of the Archangel Asylum up until now, and probably is the most eager to start exploring it.

It's not dead, I've just been pre-occupied.

Hair: Long, down past his shoulders, it used to be blonde, but he died it red on a whim.

Heritage: Japanese
Age: 22
Bio: Hes the type that you have to open him up, but once he gets used to you laughing and joking with the best. Unless you open him up, hes quiet and reserved, and tends to wear a little smile most of the time. His Parents came from Japan when he was seven, so he does have a slight accent, and can speak Japanese and English. Hes always been interested in learning, mostly about Japan, but he decided to go to the Asylum out of both boredom, and curiosity. He likes to collect things from his homelands, mostly weapons, and as a result, usualy has various kunai and shuriken hidden around his body. He has little muscle or fat, but is extremely fast and agile.
