OOC: If you're an imperialist nation in EFJ (currently, that is) than this conference is for you. Otherwise, please don't post anything.

IC:

Brom Heldfast had just talked to the Monarch of the World Empire of Futuris, John Mandrake, who was in Honakon. After about half an hour of serious talk, they agreed on the plan. Since Mr. Mandrake was still in Honakon it would be up to Mr. Heldfast to take care of the situation. He sat down at his desk, and began to write:

Brom Heldfast, Vice Monarch

To All Imperialist Nations of the World,

It seems that in these troubling times, many a nations are opposing normal expansions that every nation should be entitled to. The world imperialism draws in many minds much war and death, as well as unwarranted agression. But it does not have to be like that. Imperialism can also be giving a smaller, weaker nation a chance to join something greater than itself, a purpose that has so far spanned at least two thousand years, if not longer. Annexation is also a beautiful word which can be used for it. Peace, as some call it, and love it, is only essential between ourselves, and the stronger nations of the world - it must be known that we have no interest in their lands. There is a....group of smaller, and weaker nations that are loudly protesting our claims. For right now, it is not necessary to do anything about said nations. However, if they even attempt to strike out at us, they will be defeated. I thus propose the following 'alliance' for us Imperial nations:

1. Peace between members of the Imperial Club is essential and permanent as long as the members are in it.

2. Peace between strong nations outside of the Imperial Club should be tried for at all times.

3. If one nation attacks a member of the Imperial Club, that nation is at war with the entire Imperial Club. This is to ensure safety for all of us.

4. Imperialism has no bounds. Take what you can and give nothing back. If a claim of yours conflicts with another member of the IC, figure it out by yourselves - do not go to war over it, but propose a resolution (maybe splitting it, etc.)

5. If a member of the IC has already laid claim to a nation and proceeded to conquer/annex it, it is theirs, and no other should interfere, unless help is asked for.

6. If a member of the IC invades a nation, that nation is not necessarily at war with everyone in the IC - but depending on the requests of the invading member, if help is requested, help may be given for a price (eg. small piece of land for helping, etc.)

7. Remember that we Imperial Nations share a bond with each other, and amiable political relations between members of the IC are recommended.

8. Free trade policy within the Imperial Club.

All the Imperial Nations are highly recommended to come to London to discuss this "Imperial Club" alliance, especially if they do not agree. When we are all fairly satisfied, we can sign the alliance, and the Imperial Club will be formed!

Shakal War Ministry

The Empress no sooner ordered Manstein to Libya than this message reached her. She knew it could prove fruitful to nations that thought the same way as the Shakal Empire. It would be idiotic not to go. She began to write.

If one was to classify the Shakal Empire as anything other than Imperialist it would be idiodic. We shall be attending to formailize relations between out two nations. Rod Delamont shall be our representitive and will arrive as soon as you permit.

OOC: Basically, just RP yes (if you're going) and have your guys arrive in London, things are looking scary in Africa. I'll respond all together in the end, so I'm not ignoring you, but I also have a few things to do, so...

Carloginias

Carloginias will send a delegation.
Kampfers
20-06-2007, 17:16
While not an impearilaistic nation, Kampfers will attend. We are worried about the possibilites of a united Africa striking against Europe, of which we are a part.

Honakon, though not imperialistic anymore, will attend as we do have our moments and wish to meet leaders of other countries. Our delegation will be our Deputy of Foreign Affairs, Mikel Kennis.

To The Nations Attending,

Wonderful. Yes, the situation in Africa is one of the reasons this conference came into being. Our airfield in London is awaiting your arrival, and the conference room will be held there too. I can't wait for everyone of you to arrive - we have much to talk about.

John Mandrake, after having arrived back to Futuria, greeted the representatives from the respective countries.

"We must talk about the situation in Eastern Europe. It seems that there are two sides for now - and of course, the neutrals. This is imperialism - so good - at work. Of course, even though we have a delegate from Kampfers here, you said that you aren't interested in Imperialism - which is a problem."

I must ask why Shakal, an Imperialist Club nation, is going against its fellow imperialist nation, Carloginias. Shakal, in my opinion, has far more to gain fighting alongside Carloginias than with the American (As a general continental term) nations who have no business interfering with our interests.

Mr. Kennis spoke.

"We try to not expand our Empire too much now, our population is already large enough and has a massive economy that even struggles to sustain them - plus, all our surrounding nations are poor and overpopulated - invading them would be a burden. Though we can be called Imperialistic for some of our recent manoeuvres, and an African colony would always be nice." Mikel Kennis was more thinking out loud and expressing his view on Imperialism rather than addressing the Kampfers issue.

"As for the Kampfers situation...Carlo has offered us friendship, one that Kamp has not. The location of Carlo also means it is important for us to be close in we are to feel at ease with our country security, whereas Kamp's is less so. I again do not understand the sides in this war; however I admire the defending of the helpless. But, despite our current neutrality, we do favour Carlo currently..."

What I don't understand is why Shakal, interested in joining the IC is supporting a dictator with a multi-million man army. 3,000,000 troops is nearly 5% of the Kampferian population and the effects of having such a military should be crippling. Aiding Carloginias is a far better idea as the main ally of Kampfers is an ocean away, and is the American pig. I should hope that the Shakalese empress remembers Kampfer's attack on your country? The innocent lives of your civilians and troops. I agree with the Candistanian delegate, you have far more to gain by siding with Carloginias then with Kampfers.
