That is just plain stupid. Humans are hated by the covenant. That is like have a black person in the KKK, or a jewish Nazi.

Name: Jack Prowler (In a mission he is called: "Hawk Four-One")

History: Pilot for a major part of his military career. He loves flying and is one hell of a pilot. He is also known in the Marines as a "cazy idiot" mostly for the fact he has a history of doing cazy stunts on missions. He has transported Spartans as much as Marines and is oddly well informed about how the war is going (we're in that time period right?"). He does not have any family for the fact that all of them are dead or missing. He can fly the D77H-TCI Pelican, Albatross transport and the Sparrowhawk.

Because the books clearly show how much contempt the Covenant have for humans. For example, in The Flood, the Covenant Ship Master(rank for an Elite commanding a vessel) expressed immense hatred and dislike for giving names to humans, for he felt they only deserved extermination, and that the names they gave his people were atrocious.

So all in all, humans going into Covenant is a no-go.

in Ghosts of Onyx they rebelled but they still killed humans. The years of indoctrination against humanity still has a good grip on the elites.

no, they were attacked and thrown from the covenant. They covenant is made up of brutes, drones, jackals and the prophets. they still hate humans. get over it.

All the leaders were angered by the humans being on the Forerunner planet and wanted to kill them.

You don't want to argue, fine. But if you are going to make it after Halo 2, I would advise doing it with these things in mind. If you want humans working with Covenant, then make up your own plotline.

you can and you cant be the whole race, you can control a fleet an army but you must have char, like a prophet. others might be grunts or brutes and such.

As of Halo 3 (officially, this is on Halo3.com), the Elites have allied with humanity to fight back against the Covenant. That's from Bungie itself, and I ain't arguin' with the official source.
And read deeper into the books-some of the Elites go as far as actually wondering why the humans, who they see as "pitiful fighters but skilled strategists", weren't offered a place in the Covenant. Likely links between the humans and the Forerunners is what's speculated-so really, the Elites, who have discovered that the Prophets have betrayed the entire Covenant, are more in line with the humans than with the Covenant.

History: Thomas H. Pale Joined the Marines around his 21st birthday as he wanted to travel the stars and had always wanted to protect his fellow man from either themselves or hositle speicies.
When the war broke out Thomas applied to join the front but was denied every time, this drove him mad and made him train and train till they let him fight.

Apparently, that's all listed under the "Elites" section of the website. A littel vague, but apparently the whole "seperatist" faction thing with the Hunters/Grunts/Elites didn't work out, and it's just the Elites who are off with humanity.

Of course they look down on them, its like a wolf being forced to work with a dog. The dog sickens the wolf, but the wolf can't really do much about it.

From what it looks (looks only-I'm not a Bungie employee, I'm just a member of their sites :p), everybody's still in the Covenant except for the Elites. That goes against the end of Halo 2, where the Zealot tells the Arbiter that "The Hunters are with us", but maybe that was just a small-scale affair.

True-the Elites lost a whole helluva lot of their fleet when the nuclear bomb blew up their formation above Joyous Exultation. Still a force, though-they were #2 in the Covenant before launching the Civil War, and they were the closest race to the Hunters (even more so than the Prophets).

So why wouldn't the Hunters join the Elites? And it seems to me that Hunters would respond to threats with violence.

Alright, I've decided to have two characters, a Spartan and Elite who share control of a small squad of Elites and Spartans, and each one commands his race.
First, the Elite.
Name:Nalrack
Rank: Whatever wears the white armor, can't remember.
Armor color: A deep blood red.
Gender: Male
Height: 6'11
Job: Close combat specialast.
Weapon: Dual plasma rifles
Weight with the armor on: 563 Lbs
Without: 234
History: He used to be a Gaurdian of the Prophet of Regret, but like most of his bretheren revolted against the Prophets, and sided with the humans.
Now, the Spartan.
Name:Saya
Gender: Female
Rank: Master Cheif second class
Armor color:She somehow managed to convince them to give her purple armor.
Height: 5'7
Weight with the MJOLNR: 1235 lbs
Without: 142 lbs
Gender: Female
Job: Sniper
Weapon: Either any kind of Sniper Rifle, or a Battle Rifle for closer combat.
History: Like all Spartans, she was chosen at the age of six, and was trained until she went through the surgery, which killed most of her squadmates. She led several succedful operations against the Covenent, and then was given joint command of the squad, along with Nelrack.

So why wouldn't the Hunters join the Elites? And it seems to me that Hunters would respond to threats with violence.

Probaly they were manipulated by Loyalist forces. Hunters aren't the brightest, and the Covenant leadership remaining-Truth, the minor Prophets, and the Brutes-are tricky sorts. They could probaly do it-as long as some of the Hunters were killed (those who had witnessed stuff that woudl invalidate this manipulation).

White armor is the Ultra Elite.

And here I was thinking the Grunts sided wiith the Elites...

Well, they don't Gravemind just happens to be king of the Flood. I was bored and I didn't want to be Sparten or Elite, so I decided, what the heck, nothing like having an army of organism-destroying monsters behind you.

wow xscipia i was going to be a flood char, but i thought there to controlled, im guessing he is being controlled? and the time period is after halo 2 but we can change history, so these chars can change the outcome.

He makes his own decisions, but is loyal to his master, Gravemind. He is enhanced with the knowledge of how to fly ships, handle all types of weaponry, and take vastly more damage then a normal Flood infected elite.

okay everyone is accepted expcept for space ball because you dont get complete control unless your a co mod. im going to start the ic thread. but it would be cool if someone could make the beggining, as you all know i suck at beginings.(something i need to work on)

I'd offer to do it except I think the beginning should be a human or Covanent one. A Flood one just wouldn't work.
