The Green Eagle Opens Her Wings

OOC: This thread is both a look into my nation's new layout as well as for diplomacy, if you choose to open diplomatic relations with my nation.

IC:
Ever since the Green Book was implemented, change has been felt throughout the nation. The government was reformed significantly if not totally to suit the principles of the Green Book, it was treated as much as the Chinese treated Mao's Red Book.

While Libya, the creator of the Green Book, has been criticized for flaws within its application of the Green Book, Ryu Kaibara has decided to make sure that those flaws do not appear in his nation. He had begun reforms to make the nation more better, but his focus right now is keeping the economy at a good level.

The Kerberos units are still kept, as they are used to defend the "revolution from internal forces who would want to attack it." The Kerberos are told to defend the nation and the revolution, and that is what they will do if called upon.

While respecting the ideology of Juche as well as North Korea, Ryu Kaibara does not wish to bring Japan into isolation but follows Gaddafi in making the nation more diplomatic. Kaibara is not against communism, but rather he is against "enemies of the Nation and the Revolution".

The first part of the Green Book, if one reads it, will show you the ideology of Kaibara and what his government plans to implement in the nation. Kaibara has made committees, etc all over Japan as part of his plan to implement what the Green Book says.

There may be challenges ahead for the "Green Japan", but Kaibara and the new government hope to face those challenges and "remove them from our path."

Japanese Foreign Ministry
Kasumigaseki 2-2-1, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo 100-8919 Japan

In keeping with our government's wish that Japan extend her network of diplomatic relations with others and to avoid isolationism, the Japanese Foreign Ministry is offering all nations the chance to exchange embassies with Japan, to trade with Japan and to pursue military partnership (OOC: Article 9 is obsolete) with our nation.

Our government wishes that Japan can become more external than internal in the area of diplomatic relations, etc and thus we have released this notice today in order that that dream may be realized.

If you would like diplomatic relations or would like to ask a question about our nation, do not hesistate to contact us. Thank you for your time.

The "Green Japan" abolished Article 9 in its old form, but rewrote Article 9 in its new form, for example re-creating the Japanese Army, Navy and Air Force, as well as being devoted to the "Just War" theory and treating War as a last resort.

Once again, and more clearly, Soviet India expresses high hopes for the future of a Japan working with the Third Universal Theory, and confirms that the Final Soviet has approved a petition to request an exchange of ambassadors.

Raipur sincerely hopes that foreign elements will not attempt to disrupt the difficult process of transition in Japan, and the Soviets appeal to the established powers and up-and-comers in the newly-greening nation to remember that, 'representation is a denial of participation' and that, as such, the word of the people is of sacred importance. Usurpation of their revolutionary energies would meet with serious disapproval in the Soviets.

Citizens in Japan, meanwhile, are asked to remember that, 'to make a party you split society' a maxim often repeated by comrade Graeme Igo, Grandfather of the Indian revolution, during Beth Gellert's struggles with capitalism and Bolshevism in turn. An opposition party, says Igo to those who might think to establish one merely for the sake of being contrary, is merely an organ of expression, and, 'democracy means popular rule, not just popular expression'.

Truth be told, comrades such as the elder Igo could happily talk to Japan in quotes and paraphrasings from the likes of Qadhafi and Kropotkin all day if left to it, but domestic business eventually calls them away.

In the end Igo says to every free Japanese citizen, 'do it yourself!' and Raipur expresses a hope for future trading relations, offering to work with Japan to build its Libyan-Socialist economy and its revolutionary defence forces.

Kyodo News
18 June 2007

Reports have come in that Japan and Soviet India will be pursuing diplomatic relations including the exchanging of ambassadors. The Japanese government released the reports earlier today, and are pleased to see that the government of Soviet India welcomes diplomatic relations with Japan, or as it is known as "Green Japan'.

The Japanese government has accepted the offers of the Soviet Indian authorities to not only exchange ambassadors, but also build the economy and military, something the government of Japan is pleased to hear.

The government of Japan hopes that the diplomatic relationship between Japan and Soviet India will be able to endure any challenges that may be laid in its path.

"First, the people are divided into Basic Popular Conferences. Each Basic Popular Conference chooses its secretariat. The secretariats of all Popular Conferences together form Non-Basic Popular Conferences. Subsequently, the masses of the Basic Popular Conferences select administrative People's Committees to replace government administration. All public institutions are run by People's Committees which will be accountable to the Basic Popular Conferences which dictate the policy and supervise its execution. Thus, both the administration and the supervision become the people's and the outdated definition of democracy - democracy is the supervision of the government by the people - becomes obsolete. It will be replaced by the true definition: Democracy is the supervision of the people by the people.

All citizens who are members of these Popular Conferences belong, vocationally and functionally, to various sectors and have, therefore, to form themselves into their own professional Popular Conferences in addition to being, by virtue of citizenship, members of the Basic Popular Conferences or People's Committees. Subjects dealt with by the Popular Conferences and People's Committees will eventually take their final shape in the General People's Congress, which brings together the Secretariats of the Popular Conferences and People's Committees. Resolutions of the General People's Congress, which meets annually or periodically, are passed on to the Popular Conferences and People's Committees, which undertake the execution of those resolutions through the responsible committees, which are, in turn, accountable to the Basic Popular Conferences."

OOC: This is Japan's new form of democracy that it has implemented, this is also an excerpt from the Green Book itself.

I am interested in learning more about your nation. If you would like, please telegram me with more information. I would like to exchange ambassadors, but if our nations clash too much, I would avoid sending one. I do not want to create any unneccessary conflict.

OOC: I will send you a telegram about my nation and its inspirations. Also, I would not mind exchanging ambassadors and I also do not want conflict between us.
