Angola Thrown in Chaos

Across the rich Diamond mines of eastern Angola, for 6 years, these mines are under Goverment control and the main source of income for these people here. The ALA, Angolian Liberation Army only held 2-3 villages, but 2 days ago they launched a series of attacks in an effort to recapture these diamond mines. "We will fight street to street and house to house, Blood for Diamonds." Gen. Jablia said. Kansiovian Officials already accused the Rebellion of the use of Child soldiers and forgein fighters from 'goodness knows where'.

President Rukiski, President of Kansiov already plea for the UN to help the Nation fight back the rebels as the Kansiovian Army is badly maintained an could crumble in the area in 2-3 weeks time. "Crush them when they are small." he said. Already the Kansiovian Army are to reinforce the 1,700 troops there with another 30,000 well trained fighting men. These however due to bad roads and railways could only arrive in around a week's time.

"If we don't stop them, the Rebels are going to use the diamonds to fund the war and it will be dejavu." Gobliski Ulempant adressed to the UN.

OOC: I have a quick question. Would it be possible for some of my rebel groups to move into Angola and attempt to establish themselves with yours? That could lead to more interesting things happening, such as Schroeder Mercenaries moving in to eliminate the suckers and possibly do other more lucrative things. If you approve, I'll edit this post to accomodate that.

Rebel Mi-8 Shot down

A Mi-8, amazing flown by rebels was shot down by a Bofors 40mm, killing all of its crew of 6. It was trying to fire upon fleeing civilians out of the warzone area, but what is the most shocking is, how did the Rebels get a helicopter? The sky however is still 99% Under Goverment control, and makes 1-2 bombing runs on 'Rebel Supply lines' on maps which could be outdated. Still Kansiovian troops are lacking 100% Air Support and the Airforce is not working at a 50% mainly bogged down by the lack of proper spare parts to take to the skies.
