OOC: Kanami, this is the thread for our RP.

After the successful negotiations, Baldwin had decided to rest for a while back in his nation. However, he had decided to go on a vacation to Kanami, something he made references to before. After packing his things, Baldwin wrote a personal letter to Elenore, telling her that he would be visiting again for a visit.

The letter read:

"Elenore, this is Baldwin Villehardouin. I am sending you this letter because I am planning to go on a vacation in Kanami. My plane should be landing at the airport soon, if you can recommend any destinations in Kanami, it would be appreciated. Thank you for your time."

After the letter was sent, Baldwin got onto the plane and waited for the plane to land, wondering how his vacation would go, he hoped it would be good.

"Well he must have been impressed. To come back so soon. Well, let's see..." And Elenore wrote on.

OOC: Kanami, I have sent you a telegram.

"Elenore,

I will soon be arriving at the airport in Carmina Gadalica. I hope that I can see the landmarks, etc of your nation and I think a tour guide would be helpful to me. Thank you for your information."

Soon, Baldwin landed at the airport and looked around. Some people may have recognized him from the recent meeting that he had with Elenore (that could have aired on Kanami TV). As Baldwin looked around, Baldwin noticed a young woman coming towards him, dressed in what looked like a tour guide outfit.

"Hi, I'm Haruko Kojima, I'm a tour guide, I want to welcome you to our glorious country of Kanami, and wait a second haven't I seen you before?" Haruko was a tall slender girl, raven black hair that stretched down to her mid-backside and big amber eyes.

"So you are, I thought I recognized you. And of course come with me. You Hungry, I know some great resteraunts in the city. Oh wait we should get you checked into your hotel first, silly me. Any prefrences as to where you would like to stay?"

"I am sure others will recognize me." Baldwin said as he followed Haruko. "Perhaps after we get to the hotel, which should have a comfortable room, we can have some authentic Kanamian food."

"That is ok, Ms. Kojima." Baldwin replied. When they arrived at the restaurant, Baldwin was looking through the menu and found the third page, he studied it for a bit before choosing what he wanted.

"Before I order, may I ask what is the Salmon Salte?" Baldwin asked.

"Ah that, well it's basically salmon with dabbled in a few diffrent spices. It's usually the chef that does it."

"Thank you." Baldwin said to the waitress as she left. After that, Baldwin turned to his tour guide and said: "If I may ask, can you tell me about the landmarks, etc we will be seeing?"

"Well I'm going to show you Liberty Square first, you'll love it. Then I'm going to take you to the base of the north mountains." She pulled out a map. "See these are the north mountains, they run along and stop about 35 miles from the west coast. I won't take you too far, just into the canyon mouth. But if you ever desire to on your own time, you can hike this whole range. Backpackers do it all the time. But under no circumstances go into the Behind the Rocks Canyon area, that spands about 150 miles from the rim of Shinta Canyon which is about as far back as you can backpack before hitting the rim. It's marked off with this dotted rectangle. But you don't have to worry, I'm only taking you into Chronus Canyon which isn't even near Shinta or Behind the Rocks. After the canyon I'm taking you to Starlight City, to show you our famous space program."

Baldwin listened intently to what the tour guide had to say, and he also looked at the map. What the tour guide has planned seemed interesting, he hoped it would go as good as the meeting with Elenore. After she had finished talking, the food was served, Baldwin liked the food, he said it was well made.

"Before we go, may I order some Mountain Dew to go?" Baldwin asked as he finished his meal, which was one remaining octopus ball. "Delicious, well made and good in taste." Baldwin said after he finished. "Thank you for the food, it was good."

After they finished eating, Baldwin rose from his seat and said: "Shall we be going to begin our tour?"

"Comming right up." The waitress said. She brought him a large to-go-cup. "Here you are."

"Thanks. All right let's get moving." Haruko paid the tab and left a tip, and they left. She drove them up into the canyon. "All right, now this is a great photo op, so if you want to take some pictures now is the time. But anyway this is Chronus Canyon, it's great for camping or great for an outdoor picknic. When they had passed through Chronus Canyon, and the frisbee passed Haruko, Baldwin caught the frisbee and sent it back to the family. He smiled and they continued onward. Baldwin listened to everything Haruko said, she was a good tour guide, he thought. Baldwin then drunk some of his cup of Mountain Dew, he was almost finished by the time they reached the overlook.

After they stopped at the overlook, Baldwin asked: "Is there anything else to see, or is the first day of my tour over?"

"Let's see, just enough time to let you see Liberty Square, I completly spaced that."

She led him to the middle of the fountain. "Just stay put for a second, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1!" Water shot out from the ground. She laughed with delight

Baldwin smiled at the water shot out from the ground, he looked to see Haruko laugh. He splashed her a bit and then watched as Haruko had a good time in the fountain. Baldwin took some more pictures as he waited for Haruko, he even took some pictures of her in the fountain.

Haruko danced about in the water splashing back posing for her pictures. She later escorted Baldwin back to his hotel. "Well I had a fun time today. I'm still willing to be your guide tomorrow if you want."

Baldwin smiled and said: "I had a fun time today too. I would like you to be my guide tomorrow if possible. Thank you and have a good day." After Haruko left, Baldwin went to his hotel room and looked at his pictures of Haruko, she looked happy and glad in the pictures. He put the pictures away and spent some time watching Kanamian television.

The Next morning, Haruko came back just as planned. She was wearing a blue denime sundress with a white sunhat. Her hair was down as usual. She knocked on the door "Baldwin, it's Haruko."

Baldwin came out and smiled at Haruko. "You look lovely today." Baldwin said as he closed the door. "So, what is first on our agenda today?" Baldwin asked Haruko as they walked out of the hotel.

"Thank you. I'm taking you to Starlight City. Your lucky about 12:00 they're having a shuttle launch. Untill then we can explore the Space Meuseum."

"No problem. I will see a shuttle launch? That would be a good opportunity to get more pictures with. So, shall we get going?" Baldwin replied.

After their time at the Space Museum, Baldwin looked at Haruko and said: "What is next on our agenda? I must say that our time in the Space Museum was a pleasing one."

"Well, I'm sure your hungry. I hope you don't mind I took the liberty of making a lunch for the both of us. I thought I'd show you the country side of Kanami and we'll have our lunch out in the fresh air."

"Yep. I have the perfect place picked out." She drove them from the busy city in the quaint country side. The arrived at a small farm some time later. "Kanami has a booming agriculture market. I my self have grown up on a farm. That is actually my suprise this is my home. Well no one is here, everyone is on vacation I had to stay behind because of School." She set up blanket on a grassy knoll under a tree. A cool breeze was blowing. Haruko set the basket down with paper plates and opend up the basket. "Here you are."

"Oh, well the country is really nice. I thought I wouldn't miss it when I left for school but I guess I do. But yep my childhood is all right here. This tree, my brothers and sisters had a tree house in this tree. Till about last month a big twister took it out. Somehow the tree survived but the house well it was caput. Well the tree did take some damage. Which is why my younger siblings haven't rebuilt it."

"Well that's a relife. And now someone else can enjoy it. Don't suppose you get many tornados back home do you?"

Baldwin listened to everything Haruko said about her childhood, it was a bit interesting, it made Baldwin remember his own childhood in his mind, but as he remembered that, he still listened to Haruko. After she was finished, he replied:

"All this talking about your childhood has made me remember my own, which is significantly different from yours. I remember my own tree house back in the suburbs, but no tornadoes destroy it. When our family went along on its own way, the house/tree went to another family. My childhood is all in the suburbs, like yours is in this farm."

"We had thunderstorms where I lived, but not tornadoes." Baldwin said before he looked up to see the storm clouds, their thunder echoing through the skies. "We should find shelter before we are soaked." Baldwin said, gathering the picnic things.

"Yeah good idea. Come on." Haruko took Baldwins hand and an arm full of the picnic supplies and darted off towards the barn. She opend the doors and set the stuff down. "Whew that was close. Come on, nothing like a good storm." She ushered him up to the loft. "Ohh look at this..." She pulled out an old lantern and lit it. She opend the heyloft doors. Rain was falling down. Haruko leaned against Baldwin.

"Yeah good idea. Come on." Haruko took Baldwins hand and an arm full of the picnic supplies and darted off towards the barn. She opend the doors and set the stuff down. "Whew that was close. "Hard to say. Could be minitues could be hours. I should have checked the weather forcast today."

"I guess we will just have to wait and see. So, what do you want to do now? Just watch the storm?" Baldwin asked, the two still holding each other.

"Of course it is, I do not mind." Baldwin said before turning his head to look at the storm. It was just them together, just watching the storm continue with all its loud thunder, streaks of lighting and fierce rain.

Haruko was a bit frightend by the intesneity of the storm. The loud thunder and harsh jagged streaks of lightning. She knew it well. It was windy, she wished she had brought proper raingear along. She hugged Baldwind tightly. She felt her self more and more attracted to him as time went on. She felt safe in his warm grasp.

Baldwin did not have any fright in him, for he was not afraid because of the storm's intensity. He knew the storm well, it had been for some time since he ever saw such an intense storm. Soon, he could feel Haruko holding him more tightly, he did think she was a pretty young woman. ""Are you scared?" Baldwin asked.

"A little, yeah. I have a confession to make, I'm a mild astraphobiac. Thunder and lighting I have a fear of thunder and lighting."

Baldwin saw Haruko jump and held her to him. "Are you alright, Haruko? I saw your jump when the thunder occured. Do you want me to close the screen for you?"

"No it's okay. I love the rain it's the thunder and lighting I hate. I'm sure the storm will clear soon. This really reminds me of a squall we had one time. We didn't have a storm cellar so we took shelter in here. If it had been a twister I don't think we would have been lucky."

"Indeed, it would not. Also, sometimes we get to meet people we never dream or think we would meet, but now you've got the chance to meet a Prime Minister of some foreign nation." Baldwin said, smiling at Haruko.

"I feel like it's fate. That I was specially asked to guide you arround." Haruko removed her hat and put the lantern in front of them.

Baldwin felt Haruko's lips on his and smiled at her. "I never thought...that you thought about me like that." Baldwin said. "To admit, I had thought you were a pretty young woman, but I did not think you had those kind of feelings for me." Baldwin did not reject Haruko's advances, he was just surprised that she thought about him like that.

"You are beautiful." Baldwin said before he leaned in and gave Haruko a kiss. He smiled and waited for a response from Haruko, who he just found out had feelings for him.

Holding Haruko as they got up from the ground, Baldwin said: "I have thought of an idea. Perhaps, if you are open to the idea...we could have a date? Something romantic perhaps?"

"I'd love that. You know there is a really great formal resteraunt. Great for dates if we keep heading west to the city."

Baldwin smiled as they walked together hand in hand, he breathed in some of the air himself before they got in the car, and as they got in, the car drove off to the restaurant. It seemed Baldwin was not only getting a tour here in Kanami after all.

They arrived at the resteraunt. It was a fairly nice resteraunt though allowed for the casual clothes.

"Welcome, dinner for two? I'm Carl Rove and I'll be your waiter, I'll give you moment to look over the menue."

Baldwin looked through the menu for a while before he found what he wanted to order first.

"I think I will order the Bouillabaisse." Baldwin said.

"Hmm it's a choice between the Fish and the Ham and Cheese sandwitch." Haruko suddenly sounded like a simpleton. She let out a frustrated doh in her mind. "Well the fish does sound very good."

"Sorry again about getting caught in the storm. I'll be sure to check the weather forecasts more carefully. That or pack a raincoat."

They rode for a while longer before stopping off for lunch. Haruko unpacked all the food and the blanket. So far it still looked like a beautiful day. It was pretty simple meal common everyday ham and cheese sandwitches. Haruko loved her's toasted.

Baldwin smiled and they rode all the way out of the canyon, finding some plains. Baldwin sat down on the ground as he watched Haruko unpack the food, he did not mind it was ham and cheese sandwiches. Baldwin began to eat, and said: "These are quite good." They ate together on the blanket, a breeze was coming in but it would not be a disruption.

"Made them my self. Nothing like a cool breeze in the summer, I tell you. I was thinking seeing as we have most of the day, we should come out by close to dusk. The overlook point it has a spactacular view. Oh and there is a lake up here. What do you say we head up there, maybe go for a swim?"

Baldwin looked at her and contemplated what she said for a while, and then he began to speak, answering her question.

"My interests include horseback riding, travel, some literature, and several other things. Before I was the Prime Minister, I was an architect, building several buildings and studying architecture. To me, it was an acceptable profession to get myself into, I did all my education also."

Remembering her questions about what he thought about her, he began to speak about that.

"I think of you as a pretty and young tour guide who has taken the time to show me her nation, from the space mission to the canyon. You are good looking, Haruko, you are quite attractive to me."

Baldwin's father was Geoffery Villehardouin, an elder Member of Parliament, known for sometimes competing with his son in Parliament, while Baldwin's mother, Margaret was a dentist. His sister, Elizabeth was a school teacher and a happily married woman.

The small church that Baldwin and Haruko visited before was now filled with many guests, chefs and decorations. He was thinking about seeing Haruko, but did not know if that was possible.

In some time, the wedding would begin. Everyone waited in their seats for the arrival of the groom and bride, some people talked to each other as they waited.

Baldwin did everything he was supposed to do at the wedding, such as saying the traditional wedding words along with the minister, until he came to the part where he could exchange vows. Listening to Haruko's vows, Baldwin smiled at her and said: "You are welcome. However, my vow is in the form of a poem". He took out a piece of paper and got himself ready to read it aloud.

He recited a somewhat long poem, but it did not bore anyone, rather it amazed them, seeing how Baldwin could compose such things.
