Overview
Representing the finest in small arms technology, the ARB1 is the first military assault rifle built by ABY. The rifle is a conventional gas operated, selective fire rifle, made from most modern materials and using most modern technologies. The rifle includes modern features and is reliable enough to be fired in dusty, wet and arctic conditions. The rifle itself has been built from lightweight but strong materials, the stock is made of a lightweight steel and polymer construct. The standard sighting equipment of the ARB1 consists of the x4 SUSAT optical sight witch is included straight out of the factory and is placed on the forward picatinny rail, the rail means that the SUSAT can be changed for night vision optical sights and other additional items. The rifle, being a bullpup, is small and easy to use in built up areas but the barrle is no smaller than an average assult rifle. The rifle fireing system has replaced the direct gas system of standard rifles, so no powder residue will remain in the receiver even after long shooting sessions, this dramaticaly increases reliability. The rifle supports, as standard the .303 7.7x56mm Cartridge as the 5.56x45mm has proven to ineffective against body armour and lacks stopping power althogh the export version is available with the 5.56x45mm round. With the bigger round, recoil kicks are larger and to counter this problem, springs and a gas deflecting muzzle have been fitted.

The rifle has recently entered service with the Royal Armed Forces of Aliquantus after a successfull proving session.

We would like to purchase 100,000 of these rifles for our Hunter teams. We would also like a variety of ammunition incendiary, high explosive, armor piercing, tracer, and other to be sent with the rifle order. Approximately 100,000,000 rounds of assorted ammunition.

Zombie Security Division, Chief Stark

Thank you for your interest in our product, this is however where we have a problem, ABY does not make ammunition, thats the reason why the export version is in the .223 5.56x45mm Cartridge, witch is widely available all over the world.

For the order of 100,000 rifles, the price is leveled at L200,000,000 and for retrieval, the shiping price is 200,000.

Unfortunately, we did not realize the limitations, we are not interested in the 5.56 x 45mm version, it cannot meet our requirements. Our standard armament in most cases is 7.62 mm x 51mm, we stopped making 5.56 mm x 45 mm a while ago. We would have to start producing 5.56 mm x 45mm ammunition again for the weapons.

OOC:
If you are using good ol' .303 then you are going to need to curve that magazine to take into acount the heavy rims of the rounds. Of course you could be using a new rimless version of the .303 ammo.
Oh and the Direct impengment mechanism is actually a fairly rare system, only appearing in AR-10 and AR-15 derived rifles.
Finally how does this weapon eject spent cases? is it via the forward ejection mechanism of the keltech RFB?

Yes, the cases are ejected out of the front.
