OOC when did that start not once when i've seen that use the other side picked it up and know what it said

Then you haven't been around a lot. That's how its been done. It makes sense. If you fail to say its secret, than I'm sorry, but its your fault for not making it clear and you gave an advantage to your enemies.

Also....plenty of sides have picked up what the other side said, and understood it. We don't play hard scifi here. We ignore the whole "we dont understand your language" thing unless it is vital to the story, and it is not here.

I bet those "people" who did it the way you speak of, mentioned that it was encrypted or secret.

Read up on threads, trust me, its out there. Hell, I have even SEEN people doing the same thing I am now.

Unfortunately I would not have your encryption codes so even if I was in the ship when you sent the message I would not get it.

It's not as if a standard shuttle is equipted with a militaryy grade encryption breaking computers.

Uh...Isa...I can barely understand what you just said...but to rebut the part I did understand, being the thing about it was encrypted, well, all I can say is work it out with Hobbebia. Even if he cant read it, he could keep it and attempt to crack it, and since you sent it, still be able to know you are there by finding the source.

Strange I always indicated the code tag to make it secret, granted I always specify write a TO: and FROM: and whatnot.

I hope that counds as writing SIC, because, that really pulls away from the RP.

As for the message. Basically, when you send a message, you light up like a flare. And sensors detect them. Even passive ones can. So, basically, you had your cover compromised when you sent the message, equivalent to a guy lighting up a match and a patrol seeing it across the clearing.

Because Isa has the right to voice his poorly worded opinion on an issue he has with the RP. I have no problem as it is. And I am pretty sure no one else really cares either, but Isa does. So we need to get this settle before moving on.

Ok, but instead of complain about it or fighting it-accept it and learn from your experience. It will improve your overall appeal and likability, which will translate into better RPs in the future.

would i say general public would be 50/50 on how it's used and who's in the Rp and if you Rp with them before

I have been in alot of RPs.. PT. MT. PMT, and FT. And I would say all of them have placed a SIC or Encrypted tag in it if the post needed it. And those who didn't have complained and nothing was changed.

Personally, I don't like the CODE window and wish people would use the QUOTE window.

The reason is not based on personal preferences but on the fact when I am reading posts on my phone, the browser takes all the text in a CODE window and overlaps it with the part of the post following it making it illegable.


The problem is in the way my phone reads and displays the JAVA Scripts of the PHP Bards and there is nothing that can be done about it.

yea.. I had the same problem. It was so bad I couldn't stand it and quite using it all together.

sad thing we only find out i had it at 20 so no help at school for it, mind you if they knew i still would have not got help

Telros, the only reason the fleet is so large is because we've got I don't know how many nations here, at least three of them, while not openly hostile, really don't like each other, and now we've got some random human fleet flying in, and who knows what will happen with them? Admittedly, it is a bit overkill, but you can never be too careful...

A bit? A bit?! Thats not a fleet, its an invasion force. Sixty-two ships is overkill to infinity when there are several ships MAX in the thread.

As for why I am annoyed at all this, see Bal's rant.

I've seen it, and I edited the ship number down a bunch, only like 2 battleships, 3 cruisers, and 1 carrier. Seeing the recent bunch of OOC posts, I can see why you're so high strung.
