Aboard the Supercarrier Terra's Fist, in orbit above Harvest
After the Second Battle for Harvest had concluded with the absolute victory of Imperial, UNSC, Federal and Balroggan forces, Fleet Admiral Carlyle had invited them all to join him aboard his ship, the Supercarrier Terra's Pride. Finally, after all the heavy fighting and destruction, they had come out on top. Morale all over the fleet was skyrocketing as they heard the news. The first alien invasion after the Covenant had been swiftly and readily repelled. Their own forces had suffered no casualties, and friendly nations had arrived to help. The Imperium was ready to go into the galactic stage. Of course, it had not done so with only a victory under their belt. They had easily outteched the aliens, and their strategy was flawless, with the enemy only utilized a couple of strategems. While they had been battling, they had been negotiating and dealing, and had joined yet another alliance, one of strength and power, one of unity and respect:
The Extra-Solar Union of Systems.
To their surprise, the Balroggan Empire was in that alliance, making them all the more at ease to know that this superpower was on their side. Nonetheless, an agreement would be reached with them, mostly for their sake, since they tried so hard to aid them. The other nations, Cassiopeia, the Sephirothian Imperium of Man, the Federal Union, and the forces of the UNSC, were all going to be allowed to speak with the Imperium as well. So, it was that several rooms were made available, for negotiations. The main room, the one reserved for the Fleet Admiral, was up and running for the main negotiations with the Imperium, ready for visitors. The others were ready for the nations who chose this time to begin open relations with each other.
Carlyle stood, his white uniform and hat gleaming, along with the medals that covered his left side, some slightly less due to their age. Next to him were two Spartans, his bodyguards and the Ta'Nar, whom he had invited to stay here. He wasn't sure of Se'Vir was coming over himself or if this being was going to speak to him, but he felt that he should be here nonetheless. Turning, he tapped a key and sent a message to the bridge, who relayed it out, as well as played it inside the ship, in case some had already arrived.
“All rooms are open and ready for our guests. Food and drink has been prepared and rooms have been set aside for your use, if you choose to negotiate with each other. If you wish to speak to the Admiral about possible relations with the Imperium of Terra, please go to room 43-G. Thank you.”

Here we go, some rest and relaxation...and fierce negotiating! 0O0.
Oh and if ANYONE tries to start a fight here, I will blow them to kingdom come and beyond.
I'm serious.

After escorting the Remians to the edge of Imperial space, the Battlegroup returned to Harvest to disable the planetary shield and collect the Imps and the Stations used in their defense. That was when Commander Se’Vir received the message to meet with the defenders.
Minutes later his shuttle was landing on the deck of The Terra’s Fist, again. It seemed like days have passed since he was last here a few hours ago. The Remians were routed and escorted safely away and a large number of unknown nations had worked together to see that event passed. It was a good day’s work to see something like that coming to pass.
The Commander stepped from the Stiletto shuttle and approached the waiting guards.
“I believe I am expected. Am I the first?”

For hours of searching the UNSC battlegroup had no such luck in finding the Admirials son. Although the battle was a victory, it was a bittersweet one. So many had died. A beloved son was lost. Admiral Billings himself was in mourning. The message to meet aboard the Terra's pride had reached the UNSC battlegroup not to long ago so now Billings was on board a Pelican on his way to the ship to attend the meeting.
He sat in the back of the Pelican still wearing the uniform he had been wearing during the battle. The only difference was that he was wearing his favorite leather jacket. After the battle all of his efforts were put into finding his son and getting his ship up and running. He himself had spent a good amount of time helping with the repairs. His face still had a bit of a grease stain on his hands. His freshly bandaged wound still stung.
The Pelican began final landing procedures as it slowly pulled into the landing bay. As it landed Billings sighed. He had to put his diplomatic face on. He hated diplomacy, or politics for that matter, but for the intrest of the UNSC he needed to play the part. Steam came out of the rear hatch. As the door opened Admiral Billings stood there, his hand on his ball and cap revolver. He always did that when he was nervous. He stepped off the ramp and walked to an officer that was nearby.
"This is Admiral Billings from the UNSC Wasp reporting for the meeting" He said.
The guards glanced at him and nodded. “Indeed, Commander. You are the first but we expected as much. If you will follow Private Shakar there, he will lead you to the room.” The said Private held up a hand and then quietly lead him through the same winding hallways and corridors that Se'Vir had seen before. Soon enough, they came before a door and he knocked and it opened.
“Sir, Commander Se'Vir has arrived.” Carlyle's voice sounded then, a loud boom in the contained room.
“Good, very good. Send him in.” The Marine stood to the side, nodded to him and then walked off. Once inside, Se'Vir waved at the table.
“Go on and sit commander, God knows you have earned it. We all have.”

The Thunderhawk was given clearance and shown the way to the hangar, where the two guards stood ready to lead them to the same place they had just taken Se'Vir.

In another hangar, two more guards greeted the Admiral. They both saluted him. “Greetings, Admiral. Thank you for helping us, we really appreciate the effort the UNSC has put out for us. If you follow us, I will take you to the Admiral” Like Se'Vir, they made their way to the room and he was ushered inside. Carlyle nodded to him.
“Greetings, Admiral. Go ahead and take a seat. I have food and refreshments, if you need them.”

Commander Se'Vir nodded in respect to each of the commanders as they entered the meeting hall.
He was sitting at the table reading reports from his ship on some sort of holo-projection that was obscured so others could not read them.

The battle... was over. Pieces of the blown up ships floated in space, a junker's dream. Mind you the Commonwealth had no need to steal the armour of an enemy they so easily defeated. But, on the other hand it was always nice to get something to put in the Star Navy's Museum, a memorandem. Among other things, a scale model of a Star Destroyer, pieces of TIE fighters and Star Destroyers, scale models of Sephrion old ships. A hologram of how the wargames between the Commonwealth and the Sephrion Empire occured, but that's not important.
Hell maybe they'll ask the Terran Government for a piece.
Gary stood up enjoying the silent view, quite proud of himself. "They'll have to get me a medal for this." He turned to Tom Tommy. "You're in charge of the ship while I go take care of this diplomatic mess. If you excuse me..."
Gary, small sunglasses in hand, exited the bridge and headed towards the hanger, and since I already explainded how the halls looked like in another thread, we're just going to rush along to the hanger.
But I do need to mention.
As the fine Admiral did walk down the halls and up and down the ship, the crew cheered him with a mix of "Woo!" and "You're nuts man!" but all and all, there was love. There was love because a Cassiopeian ship was able to help defeat an enemy using tactics, and not sheer firepower. This was a lesson anybody could take.
Now back to the hanger.
The hanger crew cheered, but the Admiral had a small request. "Pilot." He called. "Get one of the shuttles, fly out there, and get the biggest piece of the armour you can. We'll want to hang this in a museum."
The pilot nodded and did in fact, get inside the shuttle and started preperations.
Gary meanwhile walked to the shuttle he was going to take, a pilot and Marine standing side by side, saluting. The Marine of course was dressed in 2142 looking dregs, armed with an E-11 blaster, five thermal detonators, and a pistol. The pilot was armed also, but only with a pistol. He was wearing a green jumpsuit and very large black gloves and boots.
Gary nodded and chuckled. "Very well then, we shouldn't keep our friends waiting."
Both shuttles launched at the same time. The first heading into the messy debres to see what they could pick out, the second towards the Terran ship. An encrypted message was sent.

The Admiral's shuttle meanwhile entered the Supercarrier just fine and all that jazz, slowly folding its wings and opening its stairs because, all shuttles have stairs. It's true, it's science fiction mandate. Mandate! But anyway. The stairs opened, and out came the Admiral.
Gary was smiling, small sunglasses and all. His white Admiral's uniform and cap shimmering (because everything in space shimmers, dangit) and the Marine himself nodding in approval. "This is some ship sir." He said.
Gary nodded. "Quite." He then turned to the Terran who was expecting him. "Hello there. I am Gary Lee Weinreb of the Cassiopeian Star Navy. Admiral of the AirHippo class battlecruiser, the CNS Jaredchonia. When will the meeting begin? And is there an off chance I can have access to a communications device so I can report to my Government if need be."
The Marine chuckled. Yah, because you care so much. He thought to himself.
The pilot meanwhile stayed behind watching the ship, he would sleep in the shuttle, waiting for the Admiral's return. At least he has Internet. His favourite thing to do was to play a role playing game called InterstellarStates. His nation (a spoof on the Commonwealth) was part of the Universal Empire.
No I'm not making fun of NationStates at all.
My point. Now would be the hardest part of any game... diplomacy.
Admiral Billings poured himself a glass of water and slowly lowered himself into the nearest chair and removed a small cloth. He then began to wipe the grease and blood off his hands and face. His temple still throbbed, but that was nothing compared to the pain he was feeling because of the loss of his son. He stared around the room and took it in. There were several other people in the room, he could of sworn the table was made of polished mahogany, but this was a different ship from a different planet, and he doubted that it was the same type of wood that was common on his planet.
He took a satisfying sip of water and once again let his thoughts drift back to his home planet, his son, the days they spent in Pokos city, walking through the ruins of the original colony. He remembered the dark stone pedistals of the colony's justice building, the destroyed suburbs. Every day was an adventure. Watching the semi-sentient Shamrock eagles hopping around the ruins making their nests and gathering food for their chicks.
"I wonder when this is going to start?" He muttered to himself.

Se'Vir made a few additional notes and issued an order through his remote terminal. He turned to his host and spoke briefly to the Terran.
"While we wait for everyone to make it here, I have instructed the escort ships ofThe Azael to begin cleanup of all the debris. The materials will be ultimately destroyed after proper analysis. If any nations want some it can be arranged to collect and deliver any of the flotsam. Everyone will be provided with a copy of the report."
The imperial carrier was parked alongside the Terran Supercarrier. Her escort ships turned and headed away at high speeds to seperate areas of the system. After reaching their post, each ship crumbled into three meter slivers of black meter. Each ship produced hundreds of these ebony teardrops which began to dart around from fragment to fragment.
They had two different methods of collection. At first they simply bumped the fragments before darting off to other ones. Those that were touched began to turn black as they were changed into Thur'Tahg. The clumps of ebon liquid metal moved together and formed more of the darting slivers. Once a saticfactory increase in numbers was acheived, they switched.
The individual Kythons pulled up to a part and sumply disintegrated it, storing the energy within itself. They then began to transport the contained samples to areas for delivery. There was an area for each nation that wished their own samples. Once reaching the containment areas, the sample was "disgorged" in a reverse of the process.
Within hours, the entire area was made safe for travel again.
When the Sephirothians landed and exited their Thunderhawk, they were met by two Marines. Upon seeing them, they bowed. "Greetings, Brother Captain. The meeting is this way. Oh, and the guards will have to go somewhere else, we don't have enough room for them. We do have a mess hall they can eat and rest in, however." One nodded to the other and the latter Marine waved for the Sephirothian to follow him. The same sight that Billings and Se'Vir saw passed by them until they reached the meeting room. The Marine knocked on the door, introduced Ardias and then let him in. Carlyle waved to him.
"Greetings, ,my friend. Good to see the UNSC's commander of their ground forces can still thrown down in a fleet battle with the best of them. Come sit."

That is quite, alright. You have earned the right to as much of the junk you want. Several ships have already secured several pieces, as well as their fighters and weapons, for shipment to ONI for study. Have fun with the rest.
When they landed, two more Marines waited there. They stood at attention and saluted the Admiral when he came down the stairs.
The Marine to escort them nodded. "The meeting is starting right about now actually, and there is a communication suite in the meeting room. Come with me please."
*same thing as with everyone else, just read the posts, damn you!*
Carlyle looked at the Admiral and invited him in.

"While we wait for everyone to make it here, I have instructed the escort ships of The Azrael to begin cleanup of all the debris. The materials will be ultimately destroyed after proper analysis. If any nations want some it can be arranged to collect and deliver any of the flotsam. Everyone will be provided with a copy of the report."
Carlyle nodded. "Thanks, thats a big help. It would have taken days to clean that all up. And we already got plenty of samples, don't worry. The others might want some, though." He nodded to the people around the table. Sighing, he leaned forward.
"I suppose it's time I began this little party. First of all, I would like to thank my UNSC allies," he nodded to Admiral Billings and Ardias. ", for coming to our aid. Be sure in the future that the Imperium will repay you. With interest.
I also want to congratulate our Cassiopeian friends on their brave and daring assault on the enemy fleet. If the Admiral so wishes, I have a medal to present to him, the Foreign Legion, which the Imperium gives to those who show exceptional skill and bravery in combat." He smiled at Gary and held up a box. He then turned to Se'Vir.
"Finally, I am honored to thank Commander Se'Vir and the Balroggan Empire for their service in stopping this threat with such a small loss of life. You have the deep thanks of the Imperium, and are welcome always in our borders. Also, if the Balroggans wish, the Emperor has granted full traveling rights in our nation and would be honored if their leader came to Terra for a friendly introduction and meeting." He bowed.
"Don't feel left out, those of you who didn't get an award or a visit to Terra. All nations here are free to open relations with the Imperium and make seek any deal they wish. They will be given more weight and will be higher on the list of priority deals and treaties." He leaned back.
"I, of course, will represent the Imperium. I give the floor to you all. Keep it orderly, please, and if you wish to negotiate amongst yourselves, please take it to the rooms down the hall. This is for negotiations with the Imperium only."

After the end of the battle, Admiral Wilko and Commander Lissako, jointly with Commanders Angold and Craigthon took a Pelican transport ship and went to the Terra's Pride to meet with Admiral Billings and with the military dome of the allied forces.
"Well, it seems to me that finally we won this battle."
Lissako answered:
"Yes... finally."
"Yes Lissako, and now it's time to celebrate the victory with the rest of our allies."
15 minutes later, Pelican 112 landed with Admiral Wilko and it's commanders.

The Marine chuckled at the mention of the Foreign Legion. "I guess you got your medal..." He said privately to himself.
Gary kept his composure, not expecting to get a medal. To be honest I'm quite shocked he got a medal, I mean you didn't have to. Bah well it's too late for that now. He smiled. "Thank you Admiral, I will indeed be proud to war the medal."
Gary continued speaking. "I would also just like to state a few things. I want to say to every person that I hope a new era of peace, prosperity, and common sense."
The Marine looked over at the Sephrion delegation. "I hope they're open to that idea..." He said to himself that. He did.
Gary, unaware of his snide comment, continued. "Now that we're all here. The Commonwealth, I'm sure, would be happy to aid in reconstruction and open its trade routes in your general direction. Also if you all wish to have some Cassiopeian technologies, you are more then welcome to request it. Saying that you're going to have to give us something in return."
The Marine nodded. "Money talks..."
The Admiral raised his hand. "But enough of my speech I'm sure other people want to speak as well, I'll make sure to talk to each of you privately later."
Harr.
Admiral Billings nodded at the mention of his name and took another sip of his glass of water. He wasn't quite sure if it was because he wanted to seem non-shalont, or was it because he was thirsty he didn't know, he was still lost in his thoughts. The quick thought that was able to cross his mind clearly enough to put the thoughts together.
"I hate to be the first person to say anything, but if at all possible, could all of the escape pods and crew from the Thermopolye that was recoverd back to the Wasp. That would be really grand" Billings said.

Then he turned to the Cassiopeian Admiral and listened. "Ah, of course. Peace is good to have. As for technologies, I am very eager to get into discussions with you on an exchange of technologies."

"I am having my forces clean the mess up they left. If we come across any escape pods, we will return them to your nearest ship as fast as possible. I hope this will help some. How long can the crew in a pod last before the life support systems fail?"
" The escape pods have idividual power source and can last within one to one and a half weeks of deep space exsposure. It also depends on the damage that the craft took if any. We are sending crews over to the wreckage of the Termopolye to begin salvage operations and to see if we can save the ship" Billings answered.
