To Sir David Koslin
Dated: Thursday, June 14, AD 2007

Esteemed sir. It rent my heart to hear of the falling of the GASN, a powerful treaty organization who's deeds will be remembered for all times. The GASN was a beacon of light, and you never failed to once impress me with your leadership and wisdom that you demonstrated in directing the Alliance ever forward. It is with those qualities in mind that I make you this offer.

The Kingdom of SaintB holds a vice chair position in the young WEMA organization, we hope for it to grow and prosper so that it may perhaps rival the size and glory of the great GASN at her peak. My nation seeks peace and prosperity for as many as we can, we ar enot beligerant or aggressive but we do not sit back and watch idely. During the recent conflict in Columbia that spilled across the borders we sent medical aid and food to beleguard citizens of the war torn sector. In Calizornstan and Firehelper we aided in thier fight against terrorism and isolationists and endeavored to end the problems quickly with little loss of innocent life.

I beleive, that as the former director of the GASN, you have the skills and qualifications necesary to aid my nation in its crusade for the greater good of all races upon this earth, and I would like to offer you the position of advisor to the Monarch, and Vice Chair of WEMA so that you may continue your great works for peacein this world.

Saint Benard I, Monarch of the Kingdom of SaintB

((OOC: Is this an invitation for me to personally advise or join the alliance, or for you to use Koslin as a character? Depending on the meaning of the message, I'll respond accordingly. :) ))

((OOC: Terribly sorry, just got home, and I'll be out the door again shortly.))

To His Majesty Bernard I of SaintB;

I haven't the authority to sign the Libertarian Empire to the treaty of the WEMA, however I have contacted His Imperial Majesty Robert II, and he does not show interest in the offer. I, with my own career goals in mind, must respectfully decline your offer of assuming the position of Vice Chair of the WEMA, as my political career has only truly kicked off with the dissolution of the GASN. Although I wish you luck in your endeavours with WEMA, I apologize that I am not interested in the position. And although I do not have the authority to speak for my government (yet, at least...) I can say that there is little interest in joining further treaty organizations. The Libertarian Empire has seen fit to cut down on entangling alliances, instead keeping ourselves officially allied to a small group of nations which we have had very positive relations with over the past several decades. I can tell you already, further alliances are not popular with the Imperial Senate, and I doubt they will accept joining the WEMA. Again, I apologize, however this is how I see it.

I thank you for your time and your kind words, and perhaps in the future we will meet again. I wish yourself and WEMA luck, your majesty, and may God guide and protect your people throughout the coming years.

Many thanks,
Sir David Montgomery Koslin
