The R-31 is the newest rifle to be produced in Nueve Italia by Garibaldi and Emanuelle Military Industries (GEMI). Its ease of use, ability to transfer quickly from left-handed and right-handed configurations, and its high rate of accuracy and stopping power make it an effective weapon for both military forces, police forces, and for civilian sport-use. Weighing in at just over 5 pounds, it is one of the most light-weight firearms produced in Nueve Italia that still has the power to punch through body armor.

The R-31, as mentioned before, can be switched quickly by a gunsmith to be configured for either a left or right hand shooter with ease by switching the safety, magazine release, cocking handle, and ejector. It is also butt heavy, giving the user extra accuracy and ease of use during sustained fire. It's compact size makes it an ideal submachine gun, while when used with the .40 S&W or .45 ACP round, its stopping power is more akin to a carbine rifle. It can also be equipped with a silencer, making it perfect for Spec Ops forces, and, upon request, the silencer can be integrated, making it perfect for SWAT teams, Counter-terrorist forces, and "Black" military operations. In fact, the integrated silence is so effective, that, like the H&K MP5 Integrated-silencer submachine gun, the report of the bullet is miniscule when compared to the click of the trigger being pulled.

The rifle is currently being integrated into all branches of the Nueve Italian military, as well as its police forces, who especially prefered the option of having a compact, light-weight rifle carried in a patrol car to deal with special circumstances, while the 9mm round could also be switched right into their pistols if need be.

Though the Tempesta does not have the stopping power or range of a regular assault rifle, it is not designed to be a main weapon of a soldier: rather, it is a complimentary weapon to be issued for CQC situations (it's small size and rate of fire shine in urban areas) or for soldiers or branches who do not require the full power, size, or weight of a regular rifle. For instance, Nitalian supply groups in combat zones are now being issued the rifle as an alternative to their regular side arm, giving them greater range and stopping power to make sure that they have the best chance of survival in dire circumstances. There is also the fact that soldiers assigned to an alternative duty, such as Heavy Support or Communications have to deal with the added weight of, so say, an Anti-Vehicular weapon and their main rifle. The R-31 provides a powerful alternative to having just a regular sidearm while still being lighter than an assault rifle, or even a regular carbine by some standards.

This is not a weapon that should be the main-stay of a military force, however, it is a perfect police force weapon and is a great addition to any military force that can see service in almost any type of combat. The main points of this weapon are that it is extremely light-weight, compact, carries a high stopping power for being quite small, can be used as either a close-quarters submachine gun or a semi-auto mid-range carbine, is extremely accurate even when put into continuous fire, and is adaptable for any type of shooter.

The TS-7 has dual gas cylinders, gas pistons and action rods for increased reliability. Low-power rounds, such as less-than-lethal rubber slugs, may be cycled manually. The weapon can also be field stripped without any additional tools. The telescopic stock may be replaced by pistol grip or a hunting-style stock without any tools as well. The barrel has an internal screw-in choke system for increased versatility. The standard sights for the shotgun are the Ghost Rings.

The TS-7 incorporates a novel design in its gas operation, called Auto-Regulating Gas Operating, or ARGO for short. The ARGO system uses two gas ports and tappet type pistons that ride in short tubes beneath the gun's barrel. The pistons impinge directly against the face of the bolt carrier to cycle the gun each time the trigger is pulled. The system is unaffected by fouling, requires little or no maintenance and functions reliably with all types of standard shotgun ammunition from low brass target loads to three - inch (76mm) magnum rounds.

One of the potentially useful features of the TS-7 is the collapsible buttstock. Collapsing the buttstock shortens the weapon by almost 8 inches (200 mm), allowing easier storage and transportation; furthermore, it permits better maneuverability around tight corners and over obstacles. The TS-7 is also available with a fixed stock (pistol grip and semi-pistol grip styles are both available, as mentioned before)

Another useful feature is that ammunition can readily be changed from one type to another as the tactical situation changes. The shell in the chamber can be ejected without feeding a new round onto the elevator by simply pulling the charging handle to the rear. A fresh shell can then simply be dropped onto elevator, the bolt release pressed and the new round chambered.

The last aspect of the TS-7 is that the Picatinny rail, built into the top of the shotgun, accepts scopes, laser illuminators, night-vision sights, and flashlights, making it perfect for all tactical situations.

OOC: The R-31 is, for the last time without being stingy, not an assault rifle. It is a compact, light-weight submachine gun. This is NOT the main weapon of an army, only a complimentary one. It can be set for a semi-auto setting, making it more akin to a carbine, but its main function is close-quarters suppression and is to be used more in the police forces and Special Forces rather than on the main battle field.

Even look at the cartridge: no assault rifle in the world would use a 9mm Luger, .45 ACP, or .40 S&W round.

Also, any production rights sold would only be for domestic use: no selling GEMI designs as your own. I'd be happy to sell the production rights so that you can replicate the weapon to distribute in your own forces, but you will not sell the weapon, even under a different name.

The R-31 is the newest rifle to be produced in Nueve Italia by Garibaldi and Emanuelle Military Industries (GEMI). Its ease of use, ability to transfer quickly from left-handed and right-handed configurations, and its high rate of accuracy and stopping power make it an effective weapon for both military forces, police forces, and for civilian sport-use. Weighing in at just over 5 pounds, it is one of the most light-weight firearms produced in Nueve Italia that still has the power to punch through body armor.

The R-31, as mentioned before, can be switched quickly by a gunsmith to be configured for either a left or right hand shooter with ease by switching the safety, magazine release, cocking handle, and ejector. It is also butt heavy, giving the user extra accuracy and ease of use during sustained fire. It's compact size makes it an ideal submachine gun, while when used with the .40 S&W or .45 ACP round, its stopping power is more akin to a carbine rifle. It can also be equipped with a silencer, making it perfect for Spec Ops forces, and, upon request, the silencer can be integrated, making it perfect for SWAT teams, Counter-terrorist forces, and "Black" military operations. In fact, the integrated silence is so effective, that, like the H&K MP5 Integrated-silencer submachine gun, the report of the bullet is miniscule when compared to the click of the trigger being pulled.

The rifle is currently being integrated into all branches of the Nueve Italian military, as well as its police forces, who especially prefered the option of having a compact, light-weight rifle carried in a patrol car to deal with special circumstances, while the 9mm round could also be switched right into their pistols if need be.

Though the Tempesta does not have the stopping power or range of a regular assault rifle, it is not designed to be a main weapon of a soldier: rather, it is a complimentary weapon to be issued for CQC situations (it's small size and rate of fire shine in urban areas) or for soldiers or branches who do not require the full power, size, or weight of a regular rifle. For instance, Nitalian supply groups in combat zones are now being issued the rifle as an alternative to their regular side arm, giving them greater range and stopping power to make sure that they have the best chance of survival in dire circumstances. There is also the fact that soldiers assigned to an alternative duty, such as Heavy Support or Communications have to deal with the added weight of, so say, an Anti-Vehicular weapon and their main rifle. The R-31 provides a powerful alternative to having just a regular sidearm while still being lighter than an assault rifle, or even a regular carbine by some standards.

This is not a weapon that should be the main-stay of a military force, however, it is a perfect police force weapon and is a great addition to any military force that can see service in almost any type of combat. The main points of this weapon are that it is extremely light-weight, compact, carries a high stopping power for being quite small, can be used as either a close-quarters submachine gun or a semi-auto mid-range carbine, is extremely accurate even when put into continuous fire, and is adaptable for any type of shooter.
