Ship Generalizations:
Karazaran Fleetships are required to be amphibious, due to the underwater nature of the Karazaran civilization on Karazara Prime. Due to this, weaponry is generally concealed beneath watertight openings, which allow them to function in space but not underwater, where they must remain sealed away. This also gives Fleetships a rather barren design, seeing as weaponry is set into the hull.
Fleetships are generally given the designation KF, standing for Karazaran Fleetship, and are usually commanded by an accredited Fleetcaptain.
Ships integrate microbacterial farms into their ventilation systems, to cater to the needs of the ship's crew, who are constantly feeding off bacteria in the environment. This function requires a relatively moderate sized crew whose sole purpose is the maintenance of these farms.
