OOC:
I realize not all people are interested in the in depth Roleplay of of trade, as a matter of fact I am not interested in getting too in depth. However trade should be a reality, at least given the detail some people put into their nations.

I am creating this with the hopes that solid RPers join for the express of these reasons;

1. To promote interaction with other nations one might not have engaged otherwise.

2. To add to the political and social exchange and depth of all members respective nations.

3. To add far greater potential for depth to the concept of total war.

4. To foster a more close to reality idea of global interconnectivity.

In reality few nations have the resources to stand alone. Even enemies will facilitate trade through third parties.

In order to function nations need each other nations.

Joining this group means you submit to certain realities...realities as I describe them not you perceive them to be(its my football).

1. Your nation is dependent on trade for that awesome economy.
2. Other nations are dependent on you for their awesome economy
3. An embargo will hurt you(depending on who 'you' are and who is doing the embargo), and you will RP it as such.
4. Bombs and Bullets are no longer the only weapon.
5. You will expand your political sphere of influence, you will add depth to your nation.
6. You will only do this for fun.

One is free to quit, free to make proposals, free to impose tariffs, free to negotiate better trade deal with consortium members, free to set up trade groups with in the consortium, so forth and so on.

The Consortium will strictly be a demonstration of a nations willingness to enter the Global trade arena. Truthfully you are accepting more OOC rules then IC rules.

The idea only works if allow your nation to actually trade and be subject to the benefits as well as the drawbacks.

Anything else posted I will ignore and I will link your information to the main post until the excess information is deleted form the post.

This thread is not for OOC discussion of the idea, OOC trade discussion, OC trade discussion. It is only for listing;
Resources
Services
Argi-Products
Common Imports
Common Exports
Trade Partners

I will be making an OOC thread for debate and OOC proposals and an IC thread for trade meetings and negotiation and what not.

Its all up to you.
I hope this sounds good.
The next post will be my lists.

OOC: South Thasland, see my OP for links to the OOC thread. As far as how much oil you might need, well its depndent upon your nation. I am serveral times larger then he US but i need but fraction of whatthe US needs because of the state of my nation. No sprawl, "public" transportation, extensive biodiesel use, criminal ban on petrol engines in the civilian sector, so I need very little petrol. I also substitute many other petroleum based products.

You however might be very different. If you have a very mobile populace like the US(lacking green technology) then you will use a lot more gas.
