What is your fate? My duty is my fate
Headquarters, High School
There was a steady breeze that passed through the town. It was very peaceful of course, but it the peaceful day would soon be shattered by two armies clashing over this strategic town. The Peoples Freedom had to defend the town from the marauding Wanderjarian hordes as the highway there was needed to ferry supplies and also protected another city, which housed important research facilities and an airport that housed an interceptor wing. Lord-Militant General Guderian had deployed division all around the strategic positions inside the town. The bulk of his artilley was stationed on the airport, giving them the range to target every area in the town. Additionally, only one road led up to the airport, and he had a company dig in and protect that road, thus securing the area from enemy assault. Along the road, Guderian had stationed his first brigade, and they also had one hundred tanks in the vicinity to reinforce them. The infantry had fortified both sides of the highway so deadly enflidaing fire could annihilate the enemy. further back along the highway near the high school was the other brigade. Guderian had one Battalion dug into buildings while the other two battalions with the remaining tanks was a quick-reaction force. Finally he had the last artillery, tanks and one company of infantry dug into the school for a last defense. He sat down and lit a Cigar, he was ready to face the Wanderjarians.

Generalmajor Dernen stood tall in the exit ramp of his Command Bradley. He looked out of the hatch, resting his arm against the machine's inner wall. It was hot, the sun radiated punishingly down upon the Wanderjarian Imperial Army infantrymen standing in the depths of the sea of red-tinted desert. Mountains expanded across the entire horizon, creating a beautiful scene which was soon to contrast the horrors of the battle raging amidst them.
"Oberst," He said to his Aide, "Tell the men to move out. First Regiment will advance ahead, have that Armor Brigade roll on point with the infantry following suit providing security for them. Those Behemoths should give the bastards no shortage of hell," He grinned slightly. Once they've moved into the town, have the other three Regiments leap frog forward until we reach objective Alpha, here," He pointed to the location on the map. "Once there, we secure the airport and the Highschool. Thats the same plan I gave to my junior Officers yesterday, its still the same today."
"Very good mein herr!" The Oberst replied. "I shall relay the order to advance to all units."
"Excellent. Make sure they know that Arty is on standby. Move out."
The order was relayed, and the massive Behemoth III Super Heavy Battle Tanks began lumbering forward, followed by Bradley Fighting Vehicles, Stryker IFVs, and three thousand infantrymen. High above the earth, MH-6 Littlebird helicopters soared, taking photographs of the locale to relay to the Commanders HUD units. This was the advantage of using the Integrated Warfighter System.
Leutnant Baumer, a newly commissioned junior officer led his platoon cautiously. This was his first combat operation, he hoped everything would go well and smoothly, but somehow he knew, nothing would. He was young, only twenty three at the time, and this was his first time out of Wanderjarian borders. It was very different for him. He said a silent prayer and continued out front, leading his men into the TPF territory, as the city came into view.....

In the City
Private Hornst Blackguard looked ahead towards where the enemy force would eventually come from. Blackguard sure didn't want to be here in this city defending it from an enemy force which could kill him. Instead, he would much rather by in his bed with Krystal, his beautiful wife. He daydreamed about her blond hair, her fulsome bosom, and other parts. But it was soon shattered by the sound of apporching tanks. They were enormous, snorting monsters, smoke belched from their various exhaust pipes. The whole area went into a frenzy, men rushing to defensive positions. As Blackguard prepared for the attack, he saw explosions start to show upon the enemy. As the first bullets began to fly, a Warrior-Chaplin came up next to Blackguard and screamed at the very top of his lungs:"FAITH WITHOUT DEEDS IS WORTHLESS!"
Colonel Jason got the order on his XM battle system. They were ordered to start to pound the enemy advance. He quickly shouted to his men." Target these coordinates! I want a mixture of Willy Peter and Cluster Shells on them right now!" Fire belched from the barrels as shells leaped from them. With a nearly ten round a minute speed, it would utterly destroy them, all 75 guns.
Sergeant Eli Varat got the order to move his Panther up to the highway, and engage the enemy tanks moving up to destroy the infantry forces at the highway. Finally his Panther emerged from the road. He spotted an enemy tank.
" Enemy tank, to the left, 1/4 mile!"
" Roger enemy tank spotted, targeting!" Said Danny, his gunner.
" Loading RAKE Round."
" Fire!" The shell leaped out, the ramjet activated, and it slammed into enemy tanks. As the tanks broke out, other did the same. Anvil Missiles from infantry also joined, while MG-3's also joined. The Anvil missile would accelerate to mach three and then dive down upon the top of the tanks destroying them. "

The initial explosions engulfed the leading Behemoths, making the outer layers of their armor glow white hot as the white phosphoruous covered them. However, the extreme density of the armor protected the crew inside, and as such they kept rolling forward. The infantry however, was not as well protected from the artillery fire.
"Everyone get down!" Leutnant Baumer shouted, running to a sand burm and making himself as small as possible. Explosions erupted in all directions, creating large plumes of white gas which melted men where they stood. He looked on in awed horror as other platoons men were horrifically burned and killed by the TPF Artillery Battary.
"Get us some goddamn air cover!" He screamed into his microphone.
"Roger that Leutnant," Replied the operator. Within moments, several Eurocopter Tigers moved into a wedge formation, and proceeded to strafe the enemy artillery battary with dozens of 20mm light rockets and miniguns mounted beneath the wings.
"Give them hell!" A Grenadier (Private) shouted, making a balled fist into the air.
The artillery had temporarily stopped, and the column proceeded to advance again. Thirty Wanderjarian soldiers had been killed, and twenty more horrifically wounded. Wanderjarian BMP-2 Ambulances rolled to the wounded and carried them back to the Division HQ. Baumer's worst fears had been realized: they were in for one hell of a fight.
Counter battary fire had been authorized as well by the Generalmajor. 155mm M198 Howitzers barked with their own White Phosphorous shells, firing at the location of the enemy battaries as located by satellites and tracked by the MH-6 Little Birds. The enemy battary would be devestated by the Wanderjarian assault, hopefully greatly reducing the effectiveness of their artillery support, or even dispatching it completely.
