As I cannot come up with a good RP post, I suspect 235,000,000 of those have been sold in Allanea in the first year.

The Riser Economic
Your Source for the Latest and Greatest in the Commonwealth Markets
While most music technology in Ghost Tigers Rise is analog, due to its much higher sound quality, and the fact that its manufacture is less expensive for the manufacturers and customers of the Commonwealth, the Centra MP3 Player is a strong seller in the Riser markets.

Over 20 million of the units have been sold thus far, at a cost of R$2000 per unit, making it a status symbol amongst the elite of the Commonwealth. It is the first such device to sell so well, and it will most likely be at the forefront of the MP3 Player market for some time.

Initial sales of the Centra are quite positive, amounting to approximately 28 million sold in the first week, and an estimated rise of 10% in sales per week. The Centra has proven to be insanely popular throughout the Empire and her overseas territories.

An In Depth Look at the Domestic MP3 Player Market
By Jane Basildon

With the lawsuits flying and the debates raging, it is a surprise to some that the portable MP3 and multimedia player market is remaining as strong as it is. As the second quarter of the current calender year draws to a close, estimated sales of all portable media players during this quarter is estimated at over 200,000,000 at the lowest, with over 250,000,000 sales this quarter a distinct possibility.

Although official sales numbers regarding most individual brands and models are unavailable until the end of this month or the next as manufacturers wrap up their second fiscal quarters, analysts at JP Morgan and Associates have published estimated sales numbers which indicate that a pair of new offerings, the Kilowag UL100 and the Queenston Centra, are making inroads as newcomers in this fierce and highly competitive market while Apple slips slightly further in the terms of total units sold and Samsung makes gains once more.

[Figure 1]
Estimated Domestic Sales for Q2, Courtesy of JP Morgan and Associates

Apple iPod Nano - 30,000,000
Samsung T9 - 30,000,000
LG MF-FM60 - 25,000,000
Solaris P-880 - 25,000,000
Samsung K3 - 15,000,000
Apple iPod - 15,000,000
Microsoft Zune - 15,000,000
Queenston Centra - 15,000,000
Creative Labs Zen Vision W - 10,000,000
Kilowag UL100 - 5,000,000
Other: 15,000,000

Rapid consumer adoption of products by market newcomers Queenston and Kilowag is expected to continue, while Samsung is expected to continue to gain on Apple's position. Recent rumors of a product placement by Queenston of a Queenston Centra in the currently under production action-thriller Dead and Forgotten, starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Jessica Biel...

The Candrian Empire
10-06-2007, 19:38
Candirian electronics chain Lefty's reports sales of 7 million units, Marvin & Grove's reports 6 million units sold, KaDees reports 2 million units sold. Non major chains report 4 million units sold. With only some 20 million units shipped to the Candrian empire, experts are predicting that there will be shortages of the first few Centras on Dominion soil.
West Corinthia
10-06-2007, 19:50
With nearly 10 million sold in West Corinthia during the first week of sales, the Centra is off to an impressive start. Hoping to capitalize on the hype, the government has released a clone for domestic sale at a subsidized price- called the Revo. Though this is expected to hurt sales of the Centra for the time being, it has nonetheless generated a new interest in small electronics amongst Corinthian consumers.
Honako

Annoucement from the Honakon Department of Commerce

The Government endorsed the new Centra MP3 Player in Honako, but their have been suspicions raised about why. After buying the product all music can only be downloaded from a special government website "Musiwash" which sells each track for the equivalent of $5 dollars, though has reported sales of some 100,000,000 downloads in the first week. As for the MP3 Player itself, it has raced to #1 in the musical player charts in Honakon, selling 3,200,000 in its first week. Experts say the product will sell in the 20,000,000 range - meeting out government competition with their music player "Xtron" which has sold 10,000,000 so far. Total sales for MP3 players in Honakon are around 30,000,000 currently.

Many people say that the site "Musiwash" sells music with hidden brainwashing messages, however the government denies this strongly. They say this is true because "even when, as they usually are, our opinion polls are altered by the government it is around 60% - suddenly they have a 97% approval rating, and only people who have downloaded from Musiwash are asked."

Meanwhile, in the free democratic puppets of Little Honako and Honako Inc. sales are estimated at as little as 50,000 copies. The product will be pulled from shelves at the end of the month if sales do not increase.

With 650 Million Centras sold worldwide (94 million domestically and 556 million globally), Queenston's profits have swelled insanely high and production rates are increasing roughly 20% every week. It has dramatically increased exports to Cravan, Questers, and Allanea, along with adding a large series of advertisements in these countries, with other nation's recieving an increasingly higher number of Centras as well. The company has made nearly $204,750,000,000 USD already from the product. It has begun to add more accessories to the Centra (such as car compatability, etc.).

Queenston is looking to expand into international markets and put manufacturing plants outside of Alacea and her colonies, to keep up with the ever increasing demand.
Calizorinstan
10-06-2007, 21:46
In Calizorinstan, with the launch of the Vertek, the sale's of the Centra took a significant nosedive, it's very likely to recover, but the Vertek smartphone is currently the top selling phone and music player in Calizorinstan.

Dedicated Digital Music Player Enters Market
Q1 Sales Reach 127.8 Million

The Queenston Electronic Centra digital music players has taken the Imperium by storm in its first quarter on the market. A specialist product that is typically covered by multi-purpose portable electronics such as PDAs and cell phones, demand has been astounding and only look to keep growing. Domestic portable electronics companies such as Crown Mobile and Ryu Electronics are reported to be scrambling to find an answer to the Alacean product, however it is projected that at the earliest a rival product from either company is a year or more away.
Clandonia Prime
11-06-2007, 01:21
In Clandonia Prime the launch of the new Centra MP3 player by Queenston Electronics was a success with four million units sold in the first weekend of sales. Several City investment firms and private companies have expressed interested in the production of the Centra, hoping to attract the Alacean company with the prospects of a cheap labour and materials and the minimal business laws that the Kingdom offers.

And estimated 300 million could be sold by the end of the current financial year.

In light of incredible sales in Scandavian States and Clandonia, Queenston has begun a series of furthered advertisements in these large nations as well.

It has begun building plants in New Brittonia and especially the United Kingdom of Clandonia Prime, which, believe it or not, is even more loose on corporations than the Sovereign Empire herself. It has also requested to move towards the Clandonian Virgin Islands, which is geographically close to our headquarters in Queenston, Alacea. It has expressed interest to begin to move into Scandavian States' or its colonies' markets.

Shipments to Calizorinstan have slowed, to keep demand up (as the vast majority of the country already has Centras), and rates are reported to be raised once more in several months.
