OOC: It is overpriced. Considering its no better than the Abrams or T-90, I would place the price range around three million.
Greston
10-06-2007, 01:21
I keep it around ten until 45 have been sold then I lower it to 5 million

OOC: Well right now it's as much as a Nakil, which could probaly slaughter a whole company or more of these.

maybe the next time you can help me find a better price and improve it, but for now it is staying the way it is

OOC: Way better than previous two. Good work. Overpriced, but you've now designed a viable piece of kit. Well done *thumbs up*

OOC: thank you, and what would be a good price though

OOC: This is a moderately up-gunned, middle of the road medium tank. Light weight implies lower armour, but the 125mm smoothbore still makes it a threat to most other tanks.

3 or 4 million, I'd say. It wouldn't stand to a Nakil or Warhound, but could be very useful nonetheless. Also won't use as much fuel as either of its heavier rivals...
Greston

We have changed it to a medium battle tank becuase of the fact that a Nakil could kick it's ass
Greston
10-06-2007, 02:10
OOC: thank you, and that is good becuase it isn't meant to go head to head against Main Battle Tanks

OOC: Wow! Very nice actually, you've done well to get the extra info etc. I think the horse power/ton is 22 but im not 100% sure about that. yeah, in line with RL designs probably from the info you have listed, and as said before, its viable.

Well done, but i would say if you want to design something really kick arse, check out my signature for Draftroom, its a great place to post up designs and with something like this then the price thing could have been noted before it was even posted here :).

PS- Just thought, try not to bump it more than once a day, i don't think your supposed to, and theres no real rush to sell.

[OOC: Why the Ariete tank? :P Although Soviet tanks tend to have excellet armor protection for their size and weight class they tend to have less protection than the heavier Western tanks. I think that in order to justify armor protection to levels which are closer to tanks such as the M1A1HA+ (and later variants of the) Abrams you may want to increase weight by around three to four tonnes. However, this is a very nice design overall. I'm just not a fan of the Ariete tank. Even Spain was offered to be part of the design the offer was declined and Spain opted for the Leopard 2. Spain had a similar indigenous project called the Lynx which was cancelled because the Leopard 2 offered a better and cheaper alternative.]

OOC: I only have the Ariete because at the bottom of the wiki for the Abrams that was there under relevant so I used it, and thank you for the compliment and very nice job on the Nakil
