Urban legend: An apocryphal story involving incidents of the recent past, often including elements of humor and horror, that spreads quickly and is popularly believed to be true.
Many people are often captivated by urban legends. Many notable ones such as alligators in sewers, vanishing hitchikers, and the babysitter are amoung the best known. Though many are based off loose threads of truth woven in with tasets of lies to create a story. But everyone of these stories has a beginning, a true event that set into motion such legends. Many times, the origins are darker than the end result. Some people dcument and follow these urban legends, entranced by them, they pursue the truth to the ends of the world.
A young man is traveling back to Harvard University after a long weekend. He picks up a young woman hitchiking along the road. She seems like a nice enough girl, a bit shy and detached but yet is drawn to her somehow. She tells him a tragic story, a story of love, betrayal, and murder. Upon ending the story she disappears suddenly, leaving behind a note. The young man returns to Harvard and tells his friends. He pursues it further and goes to the address on the note. A grief stricken family tells him of their murdered daughter and shows him a picture, it is the same woman. The ghost continues to haunt him as he unravels clues to what happened. Upon investigating her murder, he disturbs old demons from the campus and discovers a shocking truth. Now, the killer has returned and wrecks havoc on the campus, murdering unsuspecting people. The young man must race to stop this group of killers as they set otu to create their own urban legend in a sick game of cat and mouse with their victims. Will the killers get away, will a forgotten murder go unpunished?
