The Yekaterina Class was designed to replace the aging Czechalrussian Kirov fleet, design began in 2002 and was completed in 2005. The first vessel in it's class was laid down on October 7th, 2006 and was commissioned in 2007. it's speed was meant to exceed the Peter the Great Class, and it's armor was designed be capable of defeating 283mm weaponry. okA number of these vessels are in service with the Czechalrussian Navy today.

And seeing as our forces are always expanding (if slowly) to remain proportional to our population (1% peacetime, 2-3% wartime mobilization), we feel a purchase of domestic production rights to the design makes sense as well. OOC: Say, when you mention the 2 x S-300F/S-400F and 15 x Oniks/&c bit, does that denote single-missile VLS cells or 15 multi-missile cells instead (depending on type)?:confused: It's OK if they're singles (at least on the SSMs), but you specified the missile loadout for the Geckos and I figure clarification of the maximum possible S-400F and SSM ammo levels would help users RP this better.

Although construction of our own cruisers is already commencing, we feel that ordering a supplemental batch is appropriate to round-out our forces and also serve notice of the intended upgrades for our particular service variants. Hence, we'd like to order...

25 Yekaterina CBNs
Modifications Requested: Substitution of 4 x SA-N-9 Gauntlet systems, with the appropriate missile load for a ship this size, in place of the SA-N-4 Gecko mounts; and substitution of Kashtan in place of all AK-630s. We've chosen a loadout for our cruisers of ten Oniks launchers and five Moskit launchers, also; ASW weaponry being covered by the default torpedo tubes and helicopters.

We would be happy to ship back to you, free of charge, the systems we remove in the modification of our existing cruisers to this standard; since we were a bit hasty in not specifying our changes earlier.
