The Oick Singularity

History/Civilization
The Oick Singularity was formed in the early 3000s when a Londinian (http://ns.goobergunch.net/wiki/index.php/British_Londinium) military convoy was dispatched to seize control of a nearby system. The proceeding of events remains murky at best, but what is known is that the robotic warriors, named Oicks, seized control of the vessels and slaughtered the human crewmembers. The Oicks quickly expanded their fleet, capturing a number of ports, and eventually settling on a small moon near the centre of the Milky Way.
The Oicks have no home, per se, as the system under their control merely serves as a factory for the production of more robots. They are marauding pirates, who ransack other planets, attempt to destroy the organic life situated on the planet, and take as many resources as possible.
Military
The Singularity's military forces consist of a fleet with approximately 1,400 large starships and over 100,000 starfighters.
