Surplus Cocoa and Beef Sale

Uphaus

Uphaus is known as a fine producer of both Chocolate products and a strong producer of cocoa. We are prepared to export 150,000 metric tons of cocoa total this year, and begin exportin upward of 180,000 mts next year, available for purchase in future contracts, at risk of price fluctuation. Current market price is $18,000 per unit. Trading units are 10 metric tons. (to help with math that means $1,800 per metric ton) the first 100 units we sell per nation will be sold at a discounted price of $17,800 per unit.

Our Beef based agricultural industry is ready to increase exports as well, we are ready to sell 535,000 tons of Grade A beef from Uphaus. We are prepared to sell at $122 per unit. Trading unit is 1/2 ton.

When purchasing either product you can now opt for a price protection package or simply pay a fixed price based on current market price. WIth our protection program you pay current market price on the goods you purchase, but when time comes for shipment next year that price can be adjusted +\- up to 3% with the trend of the current market. THis means you may have to pay up to 3% more, but you may recevie a refund up to 3%.

All cocoa for this year and next currently spoken for.

OOC: I RP as 1 week = 1 year. I know that makes the population growth crazy, but for forum RPing it makes it easier sicne I can't post every day, but usually can every week. So obviously I can't follow true market prices for next year, instead I have chosen a year in the past to begin my prices at (converted into present dollar value) and will be increasing or decreasing price according to real past market fluctuations. I won't tell you the year, because that would make it too easy to predict where the price is going to decide on which deal to take, but I want to assure you that I am not just making prices up.

Phoenix Dynamix Agriculture would like to purchase 300,000 tons of Grade A beef. If you can not arrange air transport, we will send a fleet of cargo planes, since our refrigerated cargo ships are all occupied.
We can wire $18,300,000 immediately upon confirmation.

Phoenix Milita: Confirmed. We will provide transport.

Kurona: I understand my post may have been unclear, so I will edit it. We only have 150,000 tons to sell in 10 ton units, we do not have 400,000 tons for sale. You can buy future stock now at fixed market price or with our risk reduced option of market price +\- 3% dependin on market price at time of sale of future goods.

Greetings!

The United Kingdom of Brutland and Norden is extremely interested in importing cocoa from Uphaus. Several Nord-Brutlandese companies have expressed the need for the Ministry for Trade and Commerce to find suitable sources of cocoa. The recent bumper harvest was not enough for our chocolate-loving population. Now that we have found a trading partner several companies would like to put their orders:
Co. Cioccolato Brugnatellense ~ 7,500 metric tons/year
Merceoli Squizzitta Imp. ~ 2,500 metric tons/year
San Domenico Co. di Limenti e Bibiti ~ 10,000 metric tons/year
Co. Universa ~ 1,000 metric tons
RdP Co. Dettaglia ~ 10,000 metric tons

In the interest for further trade, would Uphaus be interested in a wide variety of agricultural products, cheese, and wines? The United Kingdom of Brutland and Norden recently had a big harvest (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=12686407&postcount=3) and we are looking for those willing to buy our surpluses.

Thank you very much, and we look to hearing form you soon.

Brutland: since you are purchasing on behalf of various companies I will reming you of the discount we are offering on the first 100 units, Ill let you decide which company to pas the savings along to. Prices are as follows, the first 100 units (1,000mts) will be $1,780,000. The remaining 3,000 units will run to $54,000.

Also although Upahus is looking for certain agricultural goods (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=529326), it apperas that you do not offer any we seek at this time, though we should keep in contact. As Uphaus prospers we will probably develope an interest in wine.

We would be intrested in making an offer for shipments of Cocoa over periods of time if that is the case, and there are certian candy companies in Kurona that would be very intrested in buying stock.

Thank you for the quick reply and for the savings. The Government agreed to pay for the produce on behalf of the companies. Then they would pay us.

And yes, we hope to hear from you sometime. In the meantime, the Ministry would be sending, along with the payment, a basket of edible wild berries from the forests of Brutland. We hope you like it.

Thank you very much!

PS. Would the total amount be $1,780,000 + $54,000,000? The money people at the Ministry are confused.

Bruteland: Yes, please add those extra three zeros. We appreciate your patronage, but thats a bit more of a discount than we are prepared to offer. :p Order confirmed and thank you for the berry basket.

Kurona: I can sell you the remaining 11,900 units for this year, the 16,000 units for next year that Bruteland has not purchased already, and to top off your 40,000 units we can sell you the remaining 12,100 units the year after, but we think it would be advisable to wait to purchase the remaining 12,100 units until at least next year if not until time of order as prices can be unpredicatable, Also, would you care to buy that at fixed market price, or with our +\- 3% price protection? Same cost to you right now either way, but with the price protection you could b elligible for up to a 3% refund or up to a 3% extra charge with your shipment next year.

OOC: Kurona, unfortunately I think offering stock in my cocoa right now is mroe complicated than I want to get into right now when it comes to profits, accountability, etc. I have some upcoming events planned that I don't want to compromise any more than I have to, but after they unfold woudl you like for me to approach you with an offer to buy stock since we know you are interested?
