7:00 am this morning, the Imperial Palace was bombed by communist hardliners of the Cree Communist Front. Forty people were killed and ten people including His Serene Majesty Emperor Paul I recieved minor injuries. As the bombing of the palace went on, the capital was suddenly invaded by communist forces. The Imperiral Parliament were flown out of the city. The High Command ordered the Imperial Army to fight off the communists. The Emperor himself led the Imperial Guards against the Communists in the center of the city. But by 3:00 pm, the capital was lost to the Imperialists. The Emperor left with his soldiers and many civilians to the city of Saskatoon. There the Emperor met up with the Parliament and the High Command and set up the government there. However, the Communists set up the People's Republic of the Tribes under Premier Thomas Morena. The Tribal Liberation Army is now engaging the Imperial Army near Saskatoon. The Emperor had this to say. "We will not this communist takeover destroy the country that we have built. The High Command and I are asking for support from outside countries. We need ammunition, weapons, and military support. With the majority of the Imperial Army engaging the enemy. I have called on the Territorial Reserve Armies to arm and be ready to join their brothers-in-arms. But with supplies streached thin, we will only hope that this war will end with the Empire in victory. As Emperor of the Empire of the Cree Tribes, I will not allow this country to fall to socialists. That is my promise."
