Politics

Droskianishk is at the moment ruled by King Nikako Kutz XXII an aging king of 70 years of age. The king has declared that his monarchial reign will be the last absolute one of Droskianishk and has taken steps towards this end by holding Presidential and Parliamentary elections. There are 100 Parliamentary seats, 25 for each province. The current President is Abdullah Sharafar, a North Arab, and his vice-president is Jamal Aidi an African native. Presidential elections are to be held every 5 years, with a 3 term, term limit. The current Parliament has three parties.

The Islamic Nationalist Party (INP) holds 10 seats

The Economic Liberty Party (ELP) holds 70 seats

The Droskianishk Socialist Party (DSP) holds 20 seats

The Parliament holds elections every 10 years.

Relations are strained between the African and Arab provinces, and it is believed that once the king dies, the secular government may not be able to hold together.
